About the adventure

Have you ever wanted to step into the shoes of a hero, roll dice, and see where the story takes you? This game is designed especially for beginners who are curious about Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know where to start. You don’t need to bring rules knowledge, a character sheet, or even dice. just bring your imagination, and I’ll guide you through the rest. My games are a mix of story and tactics, welcoming, and collaborative. I keep the focus on roleplay and creativity, while teaching you how to use your dice and character sheet step by step. If you’ve ever worried about “not knowing the rules,” don’t this table is the perfect place to learn. I’ll help you bring your character to life and make sure everyone gets a chance to shine.

Character creation

Creating your character

Don’t worry if you’ve never made a character before. This game is designed to teach you as we go. We’ll create your hero together at the start of the session, step by step. By the end, you’ll have a character sheet that feels like yours and that you’ll know how to use. Starting Level: All players will begin at Level 1. Stats: We’ll use the standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) to keep things simple and balanced. I’ll explain how to place these numbers and what they mean. Books & Rules: We’ll stick to the Player’s Handbook and other official core options. If you have an idea for something else, feel free to ask, and I’ll let you know if it works for this intro adventure. Tools: Characters can be made on D&D Beyond (free) or directly on a character sheet I’ll provide. No prep required. If you already know how to make a character, you’re welcome to bring one with you, but please stick to level 1 and official content so that everyone starts on equal footing.

What Itai brings to the table

I bring a story-first style of play that emphasizes roleplay, exploration, and teamwork. The rules are important, but I follow the Rule of Cool when it makes the game more fun or cinematic. My goal is to make sure new players feel comfortable, confident, and excited to roll the dice.
