About the adventure

In the remnants of the Kingdom of Soro, thwart the forces of darkness and save whoever you can. Face off against dangerous foes, including: šŸ’€ The undead legions of the Queen of Banshees šŸ”„ The deranged followers of the elemental horror the Unbound Flame šŸ’Ž The barbarian armies of the Crystal Horde As adventurers, you will be free to explore a rich, living world where dangers loom and choices matter. How you fight matters almost as much as winning does. Will you be the hero the people crave? Or will you make the tough choices to save as many lives as you can? The setting is not overtly Christian but is more compatible with Christian virtues than typical D&D. The setting includes objective morality, where Good and Evil have clear definitions.

About me

šŸŒ Want to explore a rich, vivid and responsive world? āš”ļø Enjoy fast, dynamic, interesting combat? ⚔ Want the power to tell your character's story your way, going off the railroads to follow whatever goals you wish? šŸ§™ā€ā™‚ļø Looking for a gameplay experience where every NPC has a name, goals and a story of their own? According to Roll20, I have logged over 1500 hours (a lot of that is game prep, but still). I've also run at least four long-term campaigns in person. My philosophy is about fast combat, creative play and player freedom. With a modified 5e ruleset, combat and roleplaying are smooth, dangerous and fun. I write about D&D and games here: https://www.unboringdungeons.com/

What William brings to the table

I will provide: * a range of custom battlemaps and region maps, * a unique setting you are free to explore, save or conquer, * a flexible, improvisational style that prioritises fun * custom character tokens * deadly fights, challenging puzzles and a world of people to roleplay with

Homebrew rules

I have optional rules to make magic more dynamic and combat more cinematic. The morality of the world is more Tolkien, with clear Good and Evil. Dark magic corrupts, some races are more Evil than others and no one is immune to temptation.
