About the adventure
A powerful and ancient figure is emerging from the dark shadows of history. How will you face this new destiny as it looms over you? Travel the world of Exandria, race against new rivals, and make your mark on history. Inspired by the popular Campaign 2 of Critical Role and the Mighty Nein, this campaign will aim to blend the grand heroics with the shenanigans we all love.

About me
There are few things in this world that hold more power than a story. And sharing them across the table with you is my greatest passion in life. So I take great care in crafting all my adventures so the party can have as much fun as possible, blending elements of fantasy and mystery with a heaping dose of comedic hijinks.

Creating your character
Characters will be created using the 2024 rules, and at start Level 2. You can use any species or subclasses from the officially published books, either 2014 or 2024. We will conduct a Session 0 via the Discord, where we will be rolling for stats. This campaign will also use the Heroic Chronicle feature from The Explorer's Guide to Wildmount
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The session and all discussions will be done via my Discord. We will also be using Owlbear Rodeo for maps and combat.
What Marissa brings to the table
My games embrace the fun and hijinks of the game, and I follow the Rule of Cool. For players, I provide digital resources for the rules and sourcebooks. We will also be using the Owlbear Rodeo VTT, and I work to give NPCs their own voices. Above all us, telling a fun story is the priority.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action, but using an action will use give the max roll of the dice.

How Marissa creates a safe table
Rules for the games will be shared in the Discord. Lines and Veils will be respected by all players. If a player does not feel comfortable publicly sharing, they can message me privately and I will ensure that all boundaries are respected and followed. If a player does refuse to follow after warnings, they will be asked to leave. Session Zero will go over these rules again, along with any content warnings.
