About the adventure
This game is a loose adaptation of the 1995 video game of the same title. Adapted to fit within a Star Wars RPG AU. A Galaxy at war! One year ago, Senator Mon Mothma of Chandrila resigned her seat within the Imperial Senate and declared a rebellion whose stated goal was to restore the freedom and due process of the Galactic Republic. Beginning the Galactic Civil War. Though successful in drawing many rebel cells and groups together on Yavin and though a hard fought victory at Lothal resulted in the Empire losing Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Empire still reigns across the Galaxy. Growing in power every day as whispers spread of a new Imperial Special Weapons project, with the power to subjugate the Galaxy. Two weeks ago, a Rebel base on the Outer Rim world of Dradonvahn went dark, with only the sounds of blasters being received by Rebel Command. Fearing what this could mean, Rebel Command put together the Star Hawk Squadron. A team of rebel operatives with the designated mission to investigate the incident on Dradonvahn and stop whatever this new dark force of the Empire is. Join a Star Wars Adventure set in a customised and shared Alternate Universe with several other campaigns. Join the Rebellion a year before the events of the original Star Wars movie as the Empire unleashes its newest assets against the Rebellion. Whether you are a soldier fighting the Empire on the frontlines, a commander leading the Squadron through thick and thin, a pilot flying the best Starfighters in the Galaxy, an engineer building and maintaining the machines and weapons of the Rebellion, a diplomat seeking allies and turning the masses against the tyrannical rule of the Empire, or a spy learning the darkest secrets of the Empire. This game uses the Age of Rebellion Core Rulebook and associated Sourcebooks. While all specialisations are allowed, only Age of Rebellion Careers will be allowed for this game, as it focuses on the struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire. We will also be using Foundry VTT on Forge, with a plethora of material added and being added.

About me
Hello There! You can call me many different things! Gallant, Commander Hellreaper, Morgan LePenguin, Jadyn, and more! I have been GMing for the past 5 years running multiple Campaigns! Namely, I am running a Star Wars Alternate Universe using the Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games/Edge Studios. I own all three Core Rulebooks and all of the Sourcebooks. I run my games on Foundry VTT, using a Discord Server to talk with players. I have Wednesday through Sunday available for running games. When I run my games, I run them with the themes of the universe in question. Trying to create an experience being both unique while still being true to the feeling of the system/universe. I enjoy allowing my players to shape the Campaigns with their decisions. Allowing the players free will (but certainly not free from consequences!). Being open to discussion to find compromise whenever issues arrive. I like to give my games a feeling of being lived in. Using Worldbuilding to make the world feel real. Giving each NPC their own personalities. I like to use skills I've learned in writing fiction to help players feel connected to the game world. I hope you consider me for your games! Creating your character
We will be going over character creation on Foundry as each Campaign has options specific to them in character creation. If I, the GM, am not available, then our Foundry Manager will happily assist you in creating your character to ensure someone is always available to help you. You will not require any of the books, as this game is available to players of all experience levels.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will require a microphone and a means of hear us speak. You will require Discord to communicate and we recommend having a device capable of accessing and using Foundry VTT. This includes a laptop and or desktop.
What Gallant Ascent brings to the table
I will be providing access to our Foundry VTT server where you will be able to play the game and access your character sheet. I have all the rulebooks for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Genesys RPG. I will be able to provide a large plethora of custom and familiar lore from both Legends and Canon (though as an AU, there is plenty of creative liberty with the material). I tend to prioritize player choice as I guide the group in a direction, but never force it. I listen to the concerns of my players whenever they arise and with the help of my staff on Discord, we can help you with most if not any problems or concerns you may have. We have a very supportive and open Roleplaying community on Discord where you can be yourself and feel safe around your fellow players!
Homebrew rules
In character creation, you receive a free rank in all 4 career skills from your specialization instead of two. Likewise you start with 600 credits instead of 500. We also have available custom playable species (e.i. Herglic, Sephi, and custom ones such as the Yerenak and Vran), and even custom careers and specializations created by the GM and your fellow community members.

Before any Campaign begins, we ensure to have a free Session 0 where we go over our expectations of the game and go over the general rules to ensure everyone has a safe and fun gaming experience.
