About the adventure
In the lands of Barovia, dread is all too commonplace. A grim village sits at the foot of a great black cliff, atop which sits the dark Castle Ravenloft, from which the dark ruler of the lands spreads misery. Ensared by sinister soul-stealing mists, you and a group of adventures are tasked with purging the evil from the land, and finding a way to escape Barovia by any means necessary.

Greetings, Adventurers! I am Alyx the DM, here to satisfy your fantasy needs. I've been playing TTRPGs for several years, and for the last 3, I've been DM. I started on DnD 3.5e before moving primarily to homemade systems devised by myself and my friends, before slowly moving to 5e. Creating your character
Characters will be made on Roll20 during Session Zero, using the 2014 rules.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a mic, Webcam is optional but recommended, and will need a Discord account and whatever app you use for character creation. Dice rolls will be done on the discord server using the provided dice bot. If the scheduled time doesn't work for you, let me know and we can find a time that does work.
What Alyx the DM brings to the table
I provide various digital resources, immersive music, and distinct voices for each NPC. I like creating homebrew magic items tailored to my players characters, and I try to do it each campaign. The rule of cool is very prominent at my table.

How Alyx the DM creates a safe table
Players can expect potentially life threatening combat; due to the open world nature of the campaign, you may find yourself in combat with creatures too strong for you. Running is almost always an option in these cases. Be aware that this is a horror themed campaign, and is quite dark at times.
