About the adventure
The empire is dead. Its shining towers lie in ruins, its banners burned to cinders, and its knights turned to ash and bone. Its glory claws back into the world through ashborn horrors, its pride lives on in undead knights who refuse to break their oaths, and its throne sits empty — waiting for a pretender bold enough to claim it. You are Champions of Ashes — chosen warriors who rise from the wreckage to confront this legacy. About me
Hello my name is Ben, Benji or Benjamin, whichever one you went to call me. I have been DMing for roughly 7 years now, and I believe that everyone deserves to at least be able to enjoy sitting back imagining a world based on sci-fi or fantasy, talking down the bandits, fighting the Big Bad Evil Guy (BBEG), or just going on an adventure into unknown lands and finding something fun. My dming brings a little bit of realism to make the fantasy more fantasy. I like to bring an open and friendly environment to my discord servers even if it's just sitting in voice chat and talking about character or systems.

Creating your character
Character Creation will happen in session zero with me the gm as we work on stat placement and what class and race you wish to play each player answer: What was your place in the old kingdom? Knight, soldier, priest, outlaw, scholar, servant, peasant, monster-hunter, etc. What did you lose when the kingdom fell? A home, a loved one, your honor, your god, your humanity. What memory still binds you to its ruins? A ruined cathedral, a broken sword, a burned banner, a single survivor. What oath do you carry? (protect the last village, slay all ashborn monsters, rebuild the kingdom, see it destroyed forever). What fate do you fear? (dying forgotten, becoming a monster, betraying your oath, repeating the sins of the old kingdom).
