About the adventure
Navigating high school is challenging as it-- what with the roller coaster your body goes through with: the growth spurts, the pimples and braces, your fair share of bad haircuts paired with almost complimentary glasses, and whatever it is that's brewing inside your gut or lower; not to mention, all of the mental and emotional baggage that it feels like you're constantly carrying around with you because your school lockers barely hold all of the textbooks you need, the endless mounds of homework that seem to pile up endlessly despite begging your teachers to consider the extracurriculars you've got to participate in order to be a well-rounded student that'll get into the college of your dreams, whether or not someone snapped a shot of you trying to discreetly pick a wedgie in between classes-- how long has that piece of greens been in between your teeth?-- Oh yeah, and the cherry on top of all the normal high school things? You're a Monster Teen, living in a mundane world where you must blend in the best you can, satiate your feral needs and desires, while resisting the temptations calling from your Darkest Self. ... Just like in school, you get a little support when it comes to scheduling, because with a Play by Post campaign you're able to reply on your own time and from the convenience of your phone even, but unlike in school, you won't be required to write any essays!

About me
Two things to me that make a great community are food and stories, which are both brought and shared at a table. At my table, I want your hunger for curiosity and creativity to be satiated. My tables are also safe places, where all sorts of ideas are welcome. I want everyone to walk away feeling heard. However, I do not tolerate bigotry and prejudice at my table; any and all BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, Disabled/Chronically Ill, and Neurodivergent folx are welcome and encouraged at my table. Different and new perspectives bring rich stories. With a decade of TTRPG experience, over half that time in the GM's seat now, I consider myself to be a teacher and a student, willing to guide and willing to learn. Creating your character
Prior to our Session Zero, players will be provide with Skins to look through and be able to start getting an idea of what kind of character they want to play. It's best to come prepared with at least two character ideas that will then be chosen during this Session Zero.

Preparing for the session
Other than joining the Discord and coming for a thirst for roleplay, you don't need a ton to come play! I'll teach you if you don't already know, and we can build characters together. Just be prepared for an initial Session Zero!
What Urvy Fitz brings to the table
Upon joining the Campaign, players will have access to the core MonsterHearts2 rulebook, reference guides, and skin. On my Discord, I provide: -- Dice Rollers so that all players may have the same transparent experience -- a Character Profile Bot (tupper) to help differentiate IC and OC speak and provide a seamless experience for players Typically I like to maintain flow of the game with characters and event encounters, while also allowing the players an opportunity to drive the story, where they're going and how they're doing things; I simply provide guidance and answer questions, try to make judgement calls based on rolls, plays, and statistics. I always try to reply as quickly as possible, while giving everyone ample time to post what they like, when they like, but it is my due diligence to put out at least a minimum of one reply a day. The length of the reply, any of the replies from any players, will be discussed periodically, to make sure everyone is getting their game's worth.

How Urvy Fitz creates a safe table
Upon joining the Campaign, I'll send you a link to an Anonymous Lines and Veils document for you to fill out. During our Session Zero, we will discuss triggers and content together to make sure that everyone is on the same page, using this document. We'll also use these Sheets to help keep track of Character Profiles and other game components. I will also provide Stars and Wishes forms, so that the game can be tailored to everyone's wants and needs. Inside the Discord, there's OOC chats, as well as further opportunities to explore to decompress. Otherwise, I have an open DM policy, where I'm happy to answer any questions, any time.
