About the adventure
"The deck rumbles beneath your feet, and for the first time you hear the howl of windshear as the shuttle breaches Hercynia’s thick atmosphere. The world below, seen through the a thick, condensation-streaked porthole: A smear of forest, scarred by ragged patches of black and brown. Patches of grey cloud cover speak to the months-long rainstorms that plague the planet's surface. Below, emerald Hercynia.” Your team of Union mech pilots has responded to a distress call from the colony of Evergreen on the beautiful but quiet planet Hercynia. Nothing a skilled team of Lancers can’t easily handle. Yet this time, your team may face more of a challenge than they bargained for. For beautiful Hercynia has a very ugly past, and it’s coming back to haunt the Union. No Room for a Wallflower is an introductory campaign for Lancer, the game of mech combat. It is set up for new players but exciting for veterans as well, featuring several new frames. In this case, we will start at LL2 so that players will have some more options for their starting mechs and equipment. This scenario will take pilots from License Level 2 to LL7 as they try to protect a colony against mysterious threats.

About me
Hello, I'm Caestus. I've been playing roleplaying games ever since I was old enough to do so. I 've played or run 100 different rpgs. I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. I've been running games for friends and family for years. While I feel that telling a good story is a key part of being a good gamemaster, more important than the story is making sure all the players at the table have a good time; I consider that the chief duty of any gamemaster. I hope to run a wide variety of games here, especially less common games, and I hope you enjoy playing RPGs with me.

Creating your character
Players will start at License Level 2. All mechs and options are available, with the scenario featuring several new mechs. I will be happy to assist in voicechat or messages as necessary.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This scenario will be played at License Level 2, giving the players extra options; players should create a mech and pilot at that License Level, although I will be happy to assist with character creation. Players should also have Roll20 and discord accounts, as well as a mic for voice chat.
What Caestus brings to the table
I will provide a Roll20 loaded with maps and appropriate mech images for the players to employ and visualize the battle. We'll also have music, and even sound effects. I have experience running and playing Lancer, and should be able to set up some exciting, challenging battles for the players.
