About the adventure

I'm not sure where to start, not sure it matters anymore to a world that has been lost for a hundred years. My name is Professor Glen Duncan, I teach at the City of Angels University. It is the last bastion of civilization on the west coast of North America. Hidden in the ruins of what was Los Angeles. We have carved out an existence in the shell of the old world. There is only madness and wastelands for hundreds of miles around the sprawling ruins of the old city. Pockets of civilization can be found out there but I haven't heard of any in the last two years, so it makes me wonder if this is it. A decade ago a traveler from New Chi made it here after his caravan was laid waste by monsters. He was stark raving mad and he said that death waits for us all out side these walls. There are no heroes anymore, and there hasn't been for a century as far as I know. I didn't sleep last night due to my night terrors. So forgive me if my thoughts are choppy. The world is on it's last leg and this message is going out on the last radio station that I know of. Hopefully someone out there is listening. We are running low on food and drinkable water. There about a thousand of us here. I have found out that the serpents dwell within our ranks. Cultists on the fringes of the city grow bolder each passing week. Not to mention creatures from the Underworld and the Dreamlands bark at our front door with more regularity. We are calling out for a last ditch effort for someone, anyone that can help us. If there are any heroes out there we are begging for your aid. We have some weapons from the old world but our ammunition grows thin. I have to go now class is about to start, this will be going out for a few hours but we have to conserve power so the radio station can only transmit for so long before we have to cease our transmissions. If your lost and out there alone or just a few of you alive come here and we can help you at least for a little longer. Glen Duncan signing out.
