About the adventure
You and your friends are, at last, proud to call yourselves accomplished adventurers. You’ve fought your share of goblins, guarded caravans across bandit-haunted roads, and even rescued a cat from a tree. The life of a mercenary adventuring band may not be as glamorous as the bards claim, but you’ve got your companions, a few coins in your purse, and stories worth telling. What more could you want? But now… something different. A personal request. By name, no less. A noble has summoned you, a sure sign you’re moving up in the world. It seems a little odd that such a patron would want to meet you in the middle of nowhere, but work is work. Strange, though… you don’t recall a castle in this part of the country. And why is the mist growing so thick…?
