About the adventure

Atyrh is a world full of history from the earliest eras when dragons ruled. The Last Emperor of the Drow nearly genocided his people after his obsession with necromancy came to possess him. The Goblin King is a centuries old half-elf vampire who assassinated the last goblin king and turned the tide of an entire war. Atyrh has even faced near apocalyptic events but was saved when the first of the Efreetmen race—Adrik Vega—and his party of heroes prevented those dooms. Nevertheless, even in an era of peace, it's existence throughout Atyrh is threatened. People filled with moss are spilling out of Galoush and attacking travelers. People governed under the High Elven Empire are dealing with problems of corruption in their government, and even the grung of Nyrh seek help from outsiders.

About me

The worlds I offer for you to explore together with others range from a parallel universe where the United States had FIVE Great lakes and for some reason Florida never existed (no offense to those who love that state) to a world where classic horror movie monsters such as werewolves and ghouls are as numerous and deadly as the number of crimson-armored Inquisitors hunting mages and nonhumans alike. Not a fan of post colonialism, the Victorian Era or post US Civil War fantasy? How about a more lighthearted world with higher fantasy volumes, where every thirty years, pilgrims who arrive at the peak of Mt Byron draw upon the magic of the Blood Star Comet to make their wishes come true? Or if you're a fan of a certain Galaxy far, far away, I can run a couple one-shot stories for you and your band of scruffy-looking nerf-herders. Whether you're absolutely new or a well-seasoned player, I intend to give you stories and adventures that not only help you escape our reality but even possibly allow you to change the history in the world around your character.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will have a session 0 to help players build their characters and figure how each character knows one another in-game. For stats we roll a single d20, and if you get below a 10, you add 10 to it. That means if you roll an 8, that becomes an 18. If you roll a 10, you have a 10. If you roll a 1 you got an 11 now, and if you land a nat 20...? Huzzah! The dice gods have chosen you! The rest of the stats are 15, 14, 13, 12, and 10. It's like Standard Point Array but instead of an 8, you get a chance for a waaay better stat.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Just have discord, and I'll provide the rest for each of you!

What Major_Lit_ brings to the table

It's my personal goal with each of the campaigns and one-shots I provide that I help each and every one of my players escape reality together for at least a few hours each session. I want these worlds to be a place you wish to live your whole life in—places where you can see the glint and glitter whenever a faerie flaps her wings, where you can smell the fresh honey buttered bread rolls on the wooden table you've just sat down to, to hear the rain on the roof as townfolk go about their business ordering food and drinks, taste the soft lips of that charming Tiefling bard you've been flirting with the whole night, to feel the hardened leather armor you're wearing and every strap and button that keeps it fastened onto you to protect you.

Homebrew rules

Nat 20 critical hits (including any features that permit a character to crit on, say, a natural 19 or 18 for instance) deal double the max of your damage. No rolls necessary after that Natty.
