About the adventure

Planescape is a Dungeons & Dragons setting that explores the vast, interconnected planes of existence. It’s a universe where worlds, dimensions, and realms are linked by portals, with each plane embodying different forces like law, chaos, good, or evil. The planes are home to gods, fiends, celestial beings, and everything in between, offering endless possibilities for adventure. At the heart of this multiverse is Sigil, the City of Doors. Sigil is a sprawling, ring-shaped city perched at the center of all things, floating above an infinitely tall spire. Known for its countless portals leading to every corner of the multiverse, it’s a place of endless diversity and opportunity, where beings from every plane coexist—though not always peacefully. Ruled by the enigmatic Lady of Pain, Sigil is a hub for travelers, adventurers, and schemers alike, offering limitless potential for exploration and intrigue. As players - you will find your self regaining consciousness on a metal slab table. Your head is pounding, and you have no memories of your past life. The only thing you know for certain - if that you need to get out of here.

About me

I've been playing RPGs since high-school, mainly on PC and consoles. My favorites were the obvious ones: Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Baldurs Gate 1 and 2. One thing I always wanted to get involved in though were TTRPGs, and during the 2020 pandemic, I finally took that time to find some people and learn how to play. My experience has mainly been as a DM, due to the fact that I never found the right group as a player, so I started making my own. My goal is to provide fun for everyone involved, along with keeping it a safe space. I have respect for rules as written, but I can be pretty easygoing at times if it works well with the situation at hand. Role-playing and having fun comes first!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Familiarity with the planescape setting is helpful, but not required. There will be many opportunities to learn the lore of the setting. Basic familiarity with D&D 5e rules. No webcam required. Microphone required. Discord required. PC required for foundry. Minimum Specifications Relatively modern computer running Windows 10 or 11, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems (Ubuntu 22+, Debian 11+, Redhat 9+, Arch) with support for 64-bit architecture. An integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration. 8GB of RAM A monitor no smaller than 1366x768. At this minimum resolution many aspects of the UI will feel cramped. A modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with hardware acceleration enabled. (Safari is not a supported browser at this time). Recommended Specifications Relatively modern computer running Windows 10 or 11, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems with support for 64-bit architecture. A dedicated GPU which supports WebGL 2.0. 16GB of RAM A monitor with 1920x1080 or higher resolution. A mouse. Chrome or a Chromium-based browser provides an experience closest to the FVTT desktop application.

What Bruno brings to the table

For my games: -Character sheets created on DnD beyond using 2014 rules. These sheets will then be imported into Foundry VTT, after inspection. -We will be using Foundry VTT for each session. Experience in Foundry would be helpful, but not required. We can over the basics in session 0. -All sessions will have battlemaps, region maps, character tokens, and more. I use many mods in foundry that can streamline the more time consuming tasks of TTRPG's. Music is an option, but I find that can sometimes be distracting. We can discuss in session 0. -I am a firm believer that the rules exists for a reason, but so does rule of cool. -I will be doing voices, though I am not a professional voice actor.

Safety

How Bruno creates a safe table

I want my games to be safe and accessible for everyone. We will go over the games content and everybodies level of comfort in session 0, and there will be breaks available to everyone at all times during each session. If any body ever feels uncomfortable, it is more than okay to stop and discuss how to move forward so no more issues come up.
