About the adventure
Chicago is a messy city. One which has a history so dark it's worse than the longest night of the year. The media might think of South Side gangs and the Candy man. Or even older mysteries like the mob. But a darker world lurks even more underneath it all. You will step into these dark nights. Fresh faced and warm. But will you leave them the same as you came in? Who will you become when the Hunger takes you? When the Beast you keep locked down comes to play. This game is for those who want a darker kind of story. One that will tear at the very being of what it means to be human...and what truly makes a monster. Hello! I'm Katarina and I have been playing and experiencing stories through games since 2014! I always enjoy the time you spend when you are working together to make sure that story or adventure that you are going for comes out the best it can possibly be. Whether you are new or old, So long as you working to make sure that everyone in involved it's always the best. Games as they are are ways for us to explore those parts of ourselves that might be hidden by shame or fear. Creating your character
We will have a session 0 to go over anything that might need to be gone over before the game starts and how the players wish to explore their own journey.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Alchemy to enhance the experience of playing in this system! You will need to have an account that will allow you to join the game as well as discord to help coordinate players and allow you guys to get to know each other! We will be running a Session 0 so that we can all be on the same page.
What Katarina brings to the table
I will provide a faciliation of the story that you want to tell, through character and dialogue that helps you feel immersed into the world that you are exploring! I use Alchemy to help give background music and other needed art so that you can experience the story as it should be! I tend to stick closer to Rule of Cool than RAW but should the story be better focused on the limitations that come with RAW I would default to those. Combat is something that can vary depending on how invested the players are in it but as a rule for me in Vampire should you be in physical danger something has truly gone wrong.

How Katarina creates a safe table
I use Lines and Veils as well as the Content Checklist so that if there is anything that may make a player uncomfortable, we have a way to deal with that before it becomes a problem. I also use the X card which will allow play to stop and for us to take a minute to explore what about the scene is making them uncomfortable and how we can move forward.
