About the adventure

A Deadly Race Against Time in the Jungles of Chult A death curse has fallen upon the world. Those who have been raised from the dead are slowly withering away, and the souls of the deceased are being trapped and devoured. The source of this vile curse lies somewhere in the mysterious peninsula of Chult, a land of untamed jungles, lost civilizations, and unspeakable dangers. The Adventure Awaits: Your party must navigate the dinosaur-filled jungles of Port Nyanzaru and beyond, racing against time to discover the source of the death curse. Along the way, you'll explore ancient ruins, negotiate with merchant princes, survive deadly wilderness, and uncover the secrets of a lost city. But beware: at the heart of it all lies the Tomb of the Nine Gods, a dungeon of legendary lethality created by the archlich Acererak. What This Campaign Offers: Exploration & Survival: Navigate unmapped jungles where resources are scarce and danger lurks behind every tree Deadly Dungeons: Face some of D&D's most infamous traps and puzzles Dinosaurs & Undead: Battle everything from zombie tyrannosaurs to ancient liches High Stakes: Character death is a real possibility. The tomb doesn't forgive mistakes Rich Setting: Experience the vibrant culture of Chult and its people Levels 1-11+: A full campaign experience from humble beginnings to legendary heroes Perfect For: Players who enjoy exploration, challenging combat, resource management, and aren't afraid of character death. This is classic D&D dungeon crawling with a tropical twist! Content Warning: This campaign features permanent character death, body horror themes, and challenging difficulty.

Safety

How Ken creates a safe table

Gameplay Safety Tools: X, N, & O Cards During gameplay, X, N, and O Cards will be used for player comfort: X-Card: Stops the game immediately if a topic becomes uncomfortable. Players can signal this verbally, show it on video, or type an "X" in chat. N-Card: Indicates nearing discomfort, prompting a scene pivot or slowdown. An "N" typed in chat or shown on video works. O-Card: Indicates that players are good to continue or escalate intensity, especially useful in combat or suspenseful moments. To ensure privacy, players can also message these signals directly to me. Debriefing Following each session, I’ll lead a debrief to discuss highlights, challenges, and any points that might have felt intense or uncomfortable. This debriefing will help gauge the group’s comfort, gather feedback, and adjust future sessions to enhance everyone’s experience.
