The focus lies on resourcefulness, teamwork, and storytelling, where clever decisions and bravery are as important as strength or spells. Whether you're delving into forgotten ruins, battling a dragon's icy fury, or uncovering the mysteries of the past, every step of your journey will test your wits and courage. Sharpen your blades, prepare your packs, and steel your resolve as the Sword Coast is calling. Will you answer?

About me
Greetings adventurer, welcome to my profile. I’m Greg, though many know me as DM Fantom. Since 2020, I’ve been guiding parties through thrilling quests across West Marches servers and running classic pen-and-paper campaigns at the table. I have a passion for tactical combat, but what I enjoy most is seeing players surprise me with clever, outside-the-box solutions. If you’re looking for a game that’s lighthearted and fun, yet brimming with danger and excitement, then you’re in the right place. Are you ready to roll the dice and embark on your next great adventure?

Creating your character
Please have a general description like ( Species, Class, Background) of your character and add those details to the D&D Beyond link, you will get, before session 0. On session 0, we can iron the missing details. You can always contact me, if you have a question or require help creating your character. For STATS you will use the Standard Array. No rolling or point buy. This is done to make the process simpler for players with less experience. Species should be from the following books: PHB (2014), MPMM, TCE, Fizban's only for dragonborns Class: Any (2014) class from the available resources in my D&DBeyond is valid. Multi class is allowed for up to 1 extra class ( total of 2 classes per character) Characters will use XP to level up. When the threshold to level up is reached, the party will need a LONG REST, in order to level up. Only Backgrounds that do not grant feats are allowed. The game will start at level 1 and proceed around level 10, depending on the side quests the party will complete.
A cleric, a barbarian, a rogue and a sorcerer walked into a tavern.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have/ get a good microphone. Have/ get a stable internet connection. A web browser is required ( chrome / firefox / whatever you use) Create an account on roll20, dndBeyond and discord, if you don't have one already. Have an idea of your character before session 0 ( like species and / or class)
What Greg brings to the table
I am a Lawful Neutral GM and bring over 1000 hours of DMing. A Roll20 Plus subscription to ensure new maps and tokens can be created and used flawlessly in the game. D&D Beyond Master subscription with most of the 2014 content unlocked, which you get access to. Both official campaign maps as well as custom maps will be used to create the world you will be living and adventuring in. I will do my best to embody the characters you will meet as well as use awesome music for ambience and battle. Rule of Cool is always welcome, but I do have limits to what I perceive as rule of cool ( you still die if you jump into the dragon's mouth, no matter how cool it looks) Always ready to teach new people the ways of Dungeons and Dragons. I don't like summons/companions. The less creatures the better. If you can, prepare single summon spells; if you can't change spells, just summon one creature.

How Greg creates a safe table
There will be a session 0, in which the group will discuss the GM's playstyle, table rules as well as expectations. All players shall talk about their expectations from the game, group and DM. There will be an X card on the Roll20 VTT, which ALL player will be able to use. If drawn ( the player(s) who drew it shall not be named or otherwise outted), the group take a break and the DM will talk with the affected player(s) in a private chat. There will be at least one break during the game session. ( Depends on group wishes)
