About me
Hello folks! I am a GM with over ten years of experience playing popular TTRPGs such as D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e, as well as indie games such as Fate, The Burning Wheel, Kids on Bikes, Masks: A New Generation and Root RPG. I think of TTRPGs primarily as collaborative storytelling engines! While I love engaging with all the bells and whistles of complex rules systems, I think it should all serve to tell a layered, nuanced story that would never have existed without the help of every player on the table. At the end of a session or campaign, I like to look back and be able to see just how everyone left their fingerprint on the tale we keep as an artifact. I am an interdisciplinary artist, and have tons of fun writing storylines, picking the right ambient music, drawing tactical maps, and letting loose making silly voices during the game. I am also a trained game designer, and have an eye for what makes for good game flow. I am very communicative, and like to keep a welcoming and inclusive table culture where everyone feels confident to bring up praise or criticism. Letās have some fun!

Creating your character
Character creation will be finalized together during our session 0, but players should feel free to get started ahead of time. If you are unfamiliar with the rules of The Burning Wheel, it would be a good idea to get yourself familiarized with them.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a discord account, a microphone and headphones or a speaker. You will also need to create a Forge VTT account in order to play. Character creation will be finalized during our session 0.
What GM Marco brings to the table
As soon as you have signed up for a game, you will gain access to a well organized and exclusive discord server where you can commune with your fellow players! If you don't have access to a PDF of The Burning Wheels rules, I will send one to you! During our session zero we will be creating the world together, including the main protagonists and antagonists!

How GM Marco creates a safe table
Safety Details: We will have a through discussion of safety tools during out session 0. When you join any of my games, you will send a link to an exclusive discord server for the game. There, you will have a channel to communicate with me about any concerns. I have an open door policy when it comes to safety, as well as when it comes to resolving technical issues (be it with StartPlaying, our VTT, or discord). After every session, I will hang out for about 10 minutes to debrief and provide aftercare if necessary. This is also a great time to provide feedback if you would desire!
