About me
Hello and welcome, folks! My name is Mark, I am 24 years old, and I have been DMing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition for 8 years. I have always been a fan of fantasy since I was a kid watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and playing Warcraft 3 on our family PC. I vividly remember my friend (whom I still play with) bringing his brother's D&D 3rd edition books and creating characters, only to make new ones every time we wanted to play again. Furthermore, I later stumbled upon a little known show called Critical Role and got hooked on the idea of cooperative storytelling, adventure and role-play. Re-discovering what D&D was had sent me down a rabbit hole into fantasy media like never before, and still has me hooked. I live in the Central Europe Timezone (CET) and I usually run games at 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM, my time. I am willing to run at games at any other time besides night-time hours (10pm-5am CET). I welcome all players, and love teaching the rules of 5th Edition D&D to newcomers. Not only that, but I am confident in my knowledge and experience with the system and can guarantee a smooth game, no matter how complex a situation arises. New or experienced to Tabletop RPGs, I cannot wait to have the opportunity to play with you and unravel the amazing adventures you will set upon.

Mark is an incredibly gifted DM. First of all, if you've ever wanted to see what an expert with Foundry VTT can do, you need to play with him. His games have awesome effects that are super fun and immersive, and have never lagged his players browsers the way other DM's setups have. He's also really good at helping a party navigate large dungeons without confusion. Second of all, he uses a wonderful selection of music and ambience for any occasion. I find it a very easy to get into the spirit of a scene or a combat in Mark's games. Finally, Mark knows the rules of the game very well. Its very refreshing when the DM has such a deep knowledge of the game, that any rules questions or confusion, he deals with them right away, and you can trust he knows what he's talking about - he'll even near-instantly paste the rule so you can read it yourself! I play Dungeon of the Mad Mage with him, and its easily one of my favorite games I play all week (I play a lot). I highly recommend a campaign with Mark, especially if the campaign leans more into combat and dungeon exploration.
Mark hosts a fun game that always keeps a solid pace and has tons of automation and visual aids. He is just a fantastic Dungeon Master who I would highly recommend to anyone looking to jump into a campaign. It's always a lot of fun and Mark always follows the credo of "fun trumps all" in his campaign, which I always appreciate.
I've been adventuring with Mark for nearly a year now, and I eagerly anticipate each session! Mark's meticulous preparation shines through every aspect of our game. He consistently brings a rich array of maps, meticulously crafted monsters, immersive set pieces, dynamic spell effects, vivid descriptions, and seamless automation. His dedication and attention to detail make every session an exciting and memorable experience.
Mark has an unbelievable commitment to the game constantly creating new ways to interact with players. He added an entire side campaign homebrewed with fleshed out characters and maps and enemies. That's to name only one of many. Highly recommend him for anybody looking for a worthwhile experience.
