About the adventure
This episodic, level 1–12 campaign is perfect for new players and seasoned adventurers alike. Each mini-adventure spotlights a different dragon species, showcasing their unique powers, personalities, and habitats. You'll need brains, bravery, and maybe a few backup characters to survive these toe-to-talon encounters. No two sessions are the same! One week you might be navigating a magical forest full of whimsy and weirdness, and the next you’re clawing your way across a wasteland in search of food, shelter, and cover from airborne acidic death. With a rotating tone and genre, this campaign offers a little something for every flavor of player. Come for the dungeons. Stay for the dragons.

About me
Hey there! I’m Steve (he/him) — actor, writer, arts educator, and full-time enthusiast for all things storytelling. When I’m not on stage, on set, or in the classroom, you’ll find me building worlds, voicing wild NPCs, and helping players tell the kinds of stories you remember for years. My background as a professional actor (SAG-AFTRA/AEA) and theater educator means I know how to bring characters to life, keep a group engaged, and make sure everyone gets their "main character moment." Whether you're brand new to TTRPGs or a seasoned dice slinger, I’m here to make sure you feel confident, creative, and part of the story from the jump. What You Can Expect at My Table: -Big character energy, memorable voices, and lots of improv -A no-pressure, "there are no wrong answers" environment -Rules explained without making it feel like homework -A focus on collaboration, creativity, and actually having fun -Flexibility to match your group's preferred vibe and playstyle -Smooth, easy-to-use Virtual Tabletop (VTT) setup If you like story-driven adventures with heart, humor, and a touch of chaos, you’re in the right place. Let’s roll some dice and tell some unforgettable stories together!

Creating your character
Free character creation and session 0 when a group signs up! We'll be using the 2024 5e ruleset, 4d6-drop-lowest stat generation, and using D&D Beyond for character creation. If you have access to the rules, and can create a character ahead of time, terrific, but we'll make it happen if not!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need free accounts on Discord, Roll 20, and D&D Beyond, as well as a stable internet connection, but I'll handle everything else! If you are new but have access to the rules, feel free to familiarize yourself, but we can also absolutely learn as we go.
What Steve brings to the table
Content sharing for a vast array of player options on DDB. Ambient music Digital battlemaps on Roll20. Lots and lots of system knowledge and improv training, for a great blend of RAW and RoC. We're all here to have fun, and I'm very adaptable to various play styles.
Homebrew rules
Crit's a Crit- A roll of a 20 on the die is an automatic success, a roll of a 1 on the die is an automatic failure. Big Critical Hits: Critical hits always do heavy damage, calculated by rolling relevant dice and adding to the maximum total possible. For example, if a normal hit with your longsword does 1d10+5, a Big Crit would deal 1d10+15. Exceptions exist, but are rare! Valhalla Turn: After failing a third death save, a character can perform a final heroic act. The character immediately stands up, clears all conditions, regains all limited use features, and can take a full turn. At the end of that turn, the character dies and is unable to be revived or resurrected by any magical means short of a Wish spell. The Valhalla Turn is always optional, a player is not required to take it.
