About the adventure

Adventurers start off on an urban-themed treasure hunt for a massive hoard of gold within the city of Waterdeep. Your team will ultimately face off potentially with Xanathar the Beholder himself. Dragon Heist takes place in "1492 DR, the Year of Three Ships Sailing". Players will venture into undermountain. Face down the lair of the insane wizard Halaster Blackcloak. He descended into madness as he dug deeper under the city of Waterdeep. Many creatures are at Blackcloak command. They await on different levels of his lair along with multiple portals to other parts of the Forgotten Realms. Are you up for an old fashioned subterranean dungeon crawl that starts in the Yawning Portal tavern? Players start at level 1 and work all the way to 20.

About me

I am a long time player and professional GM at WallCar Games. I started with D&D Red Box and have dabbled with a plethora of games. I have 30+ years experience as a Dungeon Master/Judge. I favor Chaosium games but have a soft spot for the classics. I am currently dabbling with Paizo and DCC.

Character creation

Creating your character

We use the character wizard to roll up characters in Fantasy Grounds which is very customizable. I would be open to reasonable home brew classes.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a microphone and speakers (Headset works best). You will need Discord and at least the free version of Fantasy Grounds Unity. I would also add a great in character voice and an incredible catch phrase.

What Aglovale brings to the table

I have 30+ years experience and some minor voice talent. I have all the necessary modules and rule books.

Homebrew rules

Potions are a bonus action for yourself and a full action to give to an ally. I open to non-licensed D&D classes and such.

Safety

How Aglovale creates a safe table

I have an open door policy for communication and we will take breaks as needed. Use session zero to see if I'm your kind of GM.
