About the adventure

Welcome heroes, To the Sword Coast North, the region to the North-West of Faerûn. A beautiful region filled with a landscape of rugged hills, precarious mountain ranges, and dense forests, it was home to several like-minded towns and cities. The most prominent of these cities banded together with nearby allies to form the Lords' Alliance. An alliance that is sworn to protect the Faerûn region. This miner, named Gundren Rockseeker, is looking for 4 - 6 mercenaries to help him escort his wagon of provisions and goods from Neverwinter to Phandalin. A small now south-east that was built on the ruins of an old thriving miners' town. This rockseeker fellow wants you to deliver the wagon to some trading post called Barthen's Provisions. I guess someone named Elmar Barthen will be meeting you there and paying each party member 10 gp each. Hurry and gather a party as Gundren Rockseeker is onto some important business. He's in a hurry for you to get started on this trip and get his supplies to Phandalin as soon as possible. Hello players, My name is Wes, but you can call me Dungeon Master Chef. I've been running games for about a year now. Specifically D&D 5e. I run a pretty relaxed table for the most part. I don't want to have arguments or disagreements at my table. I have some rules that I stand pretty strongly on, and I have rules that can be altered as we go. That being said, let's get into the basics before you join my table. Character Build Guide (please check this) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1INo23vs929B5fJL5ouaW-5LrYCGbJ58UzG4nWC7lf0E/edit?usp=drive_link Table Rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18n The campaign: phandelver and below the shattered obelisk Continue the campaign: We can run what I call "Heroes of Faerûn," if everyone wants to continue after the module designed for (LMoP) is done. I have some cool concepts after this module. or We can rule out modules that continue the game from the level we stopped at. Talk to the Dungeon master about plans if you enjoy the game and want to continue your adventure. If you are not familiar with Phandelver and Below, you're in luck. This is one of my favorite starting points for the area known as Faerûn. There is a lot of area to explore for both the experienced and the new players of this world. D&D is a great game, and this is a great module to start with when learning how to play the game. ====================================== We run weekly games | 3 hour game | House Rules: - D&D Official Content | D&D Beyond Content [I have the following] Player's Handbook 2014 | 2024 Tasha's Cauldron of Everything Phandelver and below: The Shattered Obelisk Storm King Thunder (working on getting more) Rules as Written (RAW) - With some leeway. About me

Hello, My name is Chef. I'm a professional Dungeon Master. I've been playing D&D for quite a few years now, and have been DMing on SPG for just over a year now. I really enjoy doing this because I meet interesting people, make new friends, and part of my SPG income goes back to a rescue called Misfit Shepherds. So apart of your weekly session payment goes to helping them get new collars, food, facilities, and much more. They have do a lot for these dogs and i love supporting what they do. Other than playing and DMing for D&D, I also still cook for a living. I work in Nursing and Senior care but i used to do michelin star restaurants and working for the big names in the culinary world. I enjoy my current job more because i have the consistent schedule that allows D&D and I also get to help people who can't really help themselves. A lot of our patients can't live alone and cook a meal. So it's a bit more personal when every plate goes out. I also have German Shepherds myself, 2 actually. Biscuit and Brutus, and you might hear them during a session, but they're pretty good about keeping the barking down during those times. I also study computer programming and just like to keep busy. If you're down for a fun adventure, meeting new people, and exploring a world full of fun and exciting times. You should definitely consider joining one of my tables. I try not to run the same exact module by the books when I do official Campaigns and am always brewing up ideas for one-shots and homebrew campaigns. So come join the fun!

Chef is an incredible dungeon master. He is very good at explaining rules and helping with character creation. As a new player, I definitely enjoyed my first game being with his campaign.

Chef adds flavor. I have played through the majority of a beginner's campaign and chef has incorporated several interesting twists to the campaign that have made it more interesting to play and, in fact changed the way some parts of the story played out. Chef is ready to accommodate balanced homebrew rules and characters. Mechanically, he is developing as an online DM, but already has a friendly and reliable support base to aid him with technical issues.

He's a great DM. I knew him before he was doing it online. Always a fun time and creative approach to the game.

Character creation
Creating your character

We will do character creation at session 0. Starting level will be level 2. You can create a character before hand in import or create a character during our free session 0. You will need to have access to our discord server and have the following: - dnd beyond account - roll20 account - dnd beyond - bettr20(we'll explain) [Optional] -google account (for survey)

What to expect
Preparing for the session

Have a character idea in mind before session 0. Make sure you understand the basics of D&D. I'm always here to help new players but having some info from reading through SRD & PHB will help things make sense faster. D&D is a bit of a heavy rule game. - Message me once you have joined. We need you to join discord.

What Chef brings to the table

I bring a fun environment, entertaining RP, and combat that will keep you on your toes. I push to make sure all my players are having a great time during their sessions at my table. I'm always looking to challenge my players and help push their backgrounds into the campaigns so that they feel more involved in the world they're playing in.
