About the adventure
⚔️ Etran's Folly is a perfectly sensible stop for caravans traveling between Elidir and Almas. The caravaner Bort and his company of merchants make the trip several times a year. But something dark happened in the town's past, and its residents are still haunted by it to this day. Your arrival sparks a series of events culminating in an old animosity rearing its head against the people of the town, and you are thrust into the middle of it. 💎 This was Paizo's first full-length adventure written for Pathfinder Second Edition. It still holds some of the most memorable characters and settings packaged into an adventure dealing with loss, rebuilding, vengeance, and balances of nature. 💎 All experience levels are welcome, though it'll be more fun if you've never run this adventure before, so you can uncover all the mysteries in real time with everyone else. Interact with the people of the town, find out what makes them tick, and find your own place in the unfolding drama. As ever, Session 0 is always free!

About me
✌My first game was spent being disappointed I couldn't cast Spiritual Weapon again until tomorrow. Now 11 years, hundreds of player hours, and countless games in the GM's chair, I'm glad I stuck through the initial disappointment and actually learned how to play the game. This hobby has become a passion. New player friendly | 🌈 LGBTQ+ friendly | Pathfinder 2e | Starfinder 2e I'm a Venture Captain for Paizo's Organized Play program, so I manage my local Lodge's in-person games every week. I'm also the forever GM, which is fine, because I absolutely love it. If you're a seasoned player, I love a unique character concept and working to make your ideas as cool as they can be. If you're a new player, I've got all the rules you need to know in my head, just tell me your goal and we'll figure out the rolls and bonuses together. I'm ready to be your Game Master through thick and thin. I'm rooting for your character...but I will definitely kill them if necessary. Fortunately for you, it's not the goal. Kaeden is a great GM in game but beyond that he puts in the work between sessions that I don't see in a lot of other GMs so that you feel like your in a group of friends playing a story and not just a bunch of random people.

Kaeden is a wonderful GM that goes above and beyond for his players. He's the most thoughtful and well-prepared GM I've played with, seamlessly weaving your character's backstory into the narrative and challenging you to think about your character's relationships and how they inform who they are. Kaeden is an incredible GM. He truly makes his players feel like he's there to support them while also crafting a rich and elaborate backdrop of the world for them to play in. His attention to detail when it comes to character backstory inclusion and genuine interest in what the group wants to do is unmatched. He has an infectious energy that gets everyone excited to game and lasts throughout the session. I cannot say enough good things about Kaeden in the short time I've played with him, but I hope he keeps GMing for a long time so I can have something amazing to look forward to each week. Character creation
Creating your character
There is a thorough guide on character creation in the Discord if you join the game, but general guidelines: - Level 1 characters - Any common or uncommon ancestries - Any class you like - Gadgets and Firearms, and their accessories like ammunition, are allowed - Standard starting gold - A character who generally stands up for doing the right thing
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need a microphone and a PC that can handle Foundry (anything from the last 5-6 years is definitely fine, older might be okay). The easiest way to build a character (for free) is using Pathbuilder and the Archives of Nethys to look up the rules, but I can work with Hero Lab or any other character information.
What Kaeden brings to the table
Every character gets a personality and a voice, and your actions in dealing with them have consequences. I own a license of Foundry VTT, so it's free for you to use. I also love to make cool custom tokens for each character. I use a lot of music and soundscapes to set the mood, and love cool splash screens and special combat effects on the VTT.
