About the adventure

After millennia of infighting and exploitation, many of Belkzen’s orcs crave prosperity and reform. Ardax the White-Hair, a bold orc leader, has invited delegates from across the world to visit Belkzen during its most spectacular natural event: the Flood Truce, when meltwater turns badlands into vibrant wetlands, feeding the nation. Yet not all appreciate Ardax’s diplomatic overtures. When disaster strikes, several guests of honor must take up arms against Belkzens’ enemies and help its orcs realize a brighter future. 🩸Participate in the High Stakes war to protect Belkzen for the newly risen undead threat 🏰Popular Variant Rules: Free Archetype, Gradual Ability Boost, Ancestral Paragon ⚔️New to Pathfinder Second Edition? No Problem! This is a perfect adventure to learn how to play.

About me

Hello Adventurers! If you are looking for a fun but also challenging adventuring experience with plenty of space to develop your characters personality, I'd love to have you in my campaigns. Grab your dice and roll for combat! My name is Ryan and I might be what people would call a Tabletop nerd and I'm proud of it. I've been playing in TTRPG games since I was 13 at home with my family. When Pathfinder 2nd Edition came out I joined a couple games and started GM'ing a couple more and haven't looked back since. Personally, in Pathfinder 2nd Edition the combat feels balanced and challenging and I want to bring that to my tables. What's best is that it does so without sacrificing the ability to adlib and come up with creative solutions. I am also a Venture Lieutenant for Pathfinder Organized play in Suffolk County, New York. Hope to play with you soon!

Character creation

Creating your character

This is a level 3-12 adventure and we will be starting at Level 3. We will also be using the free archetype variant rule, ancestry paragon, and gradual ability boost. We will be starting with a session 0 where we will go over characters, lines and veils, and group dynamics. I very much believe that for the group to have fun they must have a balanced party and I do my best to ensure that happens.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Read the players guide at https://downloads.paizo.com/TriumphOfTheTusk_PlayersGuide.pdf and have a couple of ideas of characters you'd like to play. I prefer that my players use the backgrounds provided in the player's guide but am always open to discussing how to make any of the other backgrounds work by adding an adventure hook. If you would like to take Uncommon and Rare selections please reach out to me first to discuss. I almost always allow them but we will come up with a story reason for it. Safety

How Captnobody (Ryan) creates a safe table

We will go over lines and veils during Session 0. I'll also introduce the safety cards to everyone during that session. They are a button any player can press that will anonymously pop up a message to everyone that someone is feeling uncomfortable and what they'd like to do. I take the cards very seriously and at no point do I tolerate anyone belittling someone for using them. Mental health is priority number one and there a tons of things that can be done to push the campaign forward without exposing anyone to their trigger.
