About the adventure

This story takes place in the Nine Hells and sees the characters confront its ruler, Asmodeus. They venture into the Nine Hells to save the souls of their loved ones (or their own) and are aided by a powerful faction. This faction has its own reasons for wanting revenge on Asmodeus. With the help of the characters, the faction believes it can deal a devastating blow to him. In return for a favor, the faction provides characters with access to the Nine Hells and a means of traversing the different layers. The characters travel by barge down the River Styx, also known as the River of Blood, a cross-planar river that links the layers of the Nine Hells. Those who touch or drink from its waters risk forgetting their past lives permanently. Players start at level 10 and progress to level 20 in this high-level adventure.

About me

Hi guys, I'm Mark and I've played Dungeons & Dragons for 7 years and have been a Game Master here in Las Vegas for 5 years. I've run multiple online campaigns for players from across the country. I also star in the actual-play podcast "Reckless Moves" as Twig, the lovable Halfling rogue. I also run a YouTube channel named DragonFyre Legends. If you're looking for a safe yet fun space to enjoy Dungeons & Dragons online, you've found it.

Two sessions into our campaign, but they have already been two of the best I have played. Amazing voices and knows the rules which allows things to keep moving, while still allowing for character/player spontaneity and creativity. A blast so far! Highly recommend.

Honestly, I haven't had such great luck with finding a campaign that fits my needs. I thoroughly enjoy role-playing and just a shake of combat with a very communicative DM. When I tell you I was so surprised to encounter Mark. I told him what I was looking for and he became a chameleon and made it happen! He works incredibly hard on his maps, campaigns, npc, dang near everything! He is a fantastic listener as well as has a creative mind to bounce ideas off of. If you are unsure of anything he does his best to assure you and grant you a safety net to fall on. Coming from another campaign, I really wanted to bring my OG character in since she would already be traversing the world. He made it happen with ease. I'm not the biggest fan of combat, but the party he assembled makes combat enjoyable and, quite honestly, so fun. He is a hilarious man and every session I feel like I've lost a pound or two through sheer laughter. He does his best to make sure everyone feels included and has their spotlight and even more so has their moment to feel hella cool. As a forever DM, Mark is someone I would come to time and time again to DM for me. Not to mention how knowledgeable and resourceful he is! Would heavily recommend!

Wonderfull DM with a stronghold on Forge, and a fun sense of humor. If you want an immersive Forge campaign, look no further. A group of friends and I played one of their Halloween special Death House one-shots and had so much fun.

I played my first game of D&D ever with Mark and had an absolute blast! He was so patient and helpful in getting me set up and explaining everything. He created a really fun atmosphere and was super welcoming and supportive. If you are looking for a DM to try out D&D for the first time, I cannot recommend Mark highly enough!

Character creation
Creating your character

We start at level 10 and progress to level 20. All character creation will happen on DnD Beyond. I then import your characters to Foundry. I will work with players out of game to develop their characters prior to session 0

What to expect
Preparing for the session

Please have a decent set of headphones with a microphone (headset is fine). No camera is fine, as we will be using Discord for audio only. Other than that, all directions will be available on the Discord channel I've created for the group. I look forward to meeting with you and answering any questions you might have about the game or character creation. Google Meet is available for those who prefer video.

What Dragonbreadth brings to the table

I love role playing, combat, exploration, character growth, and memorable NPCs. I love running games online because I'm able to play with such a wonderful variety of players from all over the country. My players have hailed from Puerto Rico, Colorado, Georgia, California, Texas, Arizona, and Las Vegas, where I'm based. I will do my best to get you laughing, battling, and engaging during a one-shot or one of the many campaigns set in D&D 5e. I'm currently set up to run "Out of the Abyss", "Tomb of Annihilation", "The Wild Beyond the Witchlight", "Chains of Asmodeus", and a variety of one-shot adventures. As a graphic designer, I go out of my way to create immersive and interactive battle maps using the Foundry virtual table top, Discord, and D&D Beyond. If your computer is a little older and can't handle some of the latest in computer graphics, I can also trim down the game and use more theater-of-the-mind techniques to run the game. I also have some tricks for getting the most out of older systems for Foundry. The one map that all my players talk about to this day is one that featured a beholder's lair, complete with moving eyeballs that shot animated spells at the players! I even had some rolls automated to speed up combat! Epic!
