About me
🔵 34 - he/him 🔵 "Heya" When I run games, my goal is to set a stage for my players. I make sure everything is right; my character work, the soundtrack, the worldbuilding, the narrative cohesion, and most importantly - the table vibe. I want to foster an environment where my players can most comfortably share their creative selves. To me, that means not only immersing them in a game world that feels real and enticing, but also cultivating a gaming environment where players feel heard, and among friends. In addition to being an enduring RPG enthusiast, I've spent most of my life performing. Plenty of time on stage as well as in the booth; my voice is my instrument, and I love no performance as much as I love filling the role of GM. I have long been fascinated by this collaborative medium, and I'm seeking players who similarly wish to explore the narrative possibilities that only RPGs can offer. Let's ham it up and roll some dice! <<Check out the "Youtube" link at the bottom for an old demo of my character work! It's a bit on the loud side right off the bat so be prepared>>

Creating your character
Check out the official Shades of Blood Player's Guide to get started thinking about a character concept, but remain flexible! We'll work to unify and balance the group's concepts during our Session 0 : https://downloads.paizo.com/ShadesOfBlood_PlayersGuide.pdf NOTE: The Player's Guide doesn't communicate the extent to which you will be cut off from the surface world in this campaign. A settlement (Talmandor's Bounty) is detailed within and provides a great setting to base your character concept in, but once you leave the settlement behind you won't be returning to it in this campaign.
Variants in play include: Free Archetype, Gradual Attribute Boosts, Automatic Rune Progression

What Dabinski brings to the table
As GM, I'll be bringing my performance experience to bear in embodying NPCs and in guiding the narrative while controlling the story's ambient musical soundtrack in real time. I will provide challenging tactical RPG combat enhanced with glossy maps and artwork, and a robust suite of VTT automation to make things easier. As game facilitator I'll be working to ensure good experiences at the table by fostering an environment of communication and mutual creative support.

How Dabinski creates a safe table
During our Session 0 we'll work together to ensure everyone is coming to the table for similar reasons. We'll explicitly state our individual lines & veils, and be given opportunity to ask for clarification if necessary. After the Session 0 is held I'll be asking you to fill out the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to make sure I've always got a reference handy for the table's gaming preferences.
