About the adventure
A friendly, light hearted game with two hour sessions every other Friday. If your play time is limited this might be just right for you. The potbellied kobold is cursed and unable to go far from her trade wagon, but she has a book that gives her glimpses of the future. She uses this to guide you to people in need of heroes, in a wide variety of places and situations, and also to find ingredients to cure her curse.

About me
What I provide: A game that fits your group. A laid-back, friendly approach that welcomes new players. Organization, focus, and online tools to help you tell your story. My intro to d&d was three beige books in a little white box , in 1978. My first hobbit thief was trampled to death by a herd of were-elk. Despite that setback, I persevered and have been DMing, and occasionally playing, ever since. I launched ColoradoGamemaster.com in 2019 to GM professionally in person, just in time for the Great Plague to make that impossible. StartPlaying and online platforms came along at just the right time, allowing me to bring my games to people around the globe.

Creating your character
We'll use a mix of rules from Tales of the Valiant, D&D2024, and D&D2014. You can make a character using any ONE of these rulesets - they can all adventure together, but don't mix and match abilities across rulesets on one character, it gets weird. I have all the materials you need on Fantasy Grounds to make your character, including some you might not find on D&DBeyond or other sources, so it's recommended to make your character either during session0 or, if joining the campaign after it starts, by appointment before your first session.
Expected start date: July 11

What Keith brings to the table
This is a chill D&D table. Expect some intense combats and roleplaying moments, but puns and nerdy references will happen and fourth walls will be broken. My tables are assertively welcoming to all genders, orientations, races, ages (adults), levels of experience, nationalities, neurotypes and abilities. They are NOT welcoming to bigots, bullies, sexists, racists, homophobes or Trumpists. If this might be a problem for you, find another table.
Homebrew rules
I use the ToV Luck rules instead of (heroic) Inspiration. I allow monster knowledge rolls as a bonus action. Generally the ruleset you use for your character determines the version of things you use - your (ToV/2014) counterspell might work differently than your friend's (2024) counterspell; you learned from different teachers. I modify the ToV weapon options to make them easier to use (eliminating the saving throws). I don't have strong opinions about grapple or similar rules, we can discuss which version we like better. I do prefer 2024's exhaustion.
