About the adventure

Mystery and whimsy collide on the beautiful island of Obojima, where humans and spirits have learned to live together. Every corner of the sprawling island has something new to uncover, and 80’s technology like vending machines, keytars, and kei trucks are mysteriously found throughout the land, But now, the Corruption has started to spread across Obojima, changing everything it touches into twisted abominations. Obojima: Tales from the Tall Grass keeps the focus on enjoying the world around you. The lo-fi atmosphere emboldens adventures to be creative, go at their own pace, and take it easy. With an expansive cast of characters, new subclasses, spells, magic items, and a brand new potion-making system, you’ll always find something new on the island!

About me

Hey everyone, you can call me Nioret. I started DMing during lockdown and fell in love with it. The collaborative storytelling process of DnD is what I'm here for, and being able to provide a fun experience for everyone at my table is what drives my passion.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Upon signing up for this campaign, there will be a link to join a Discord server. Further information will be located within the contents of the server. I will also reach out to you personally to ensure your onboarding goes well. Hardware wise, Players only need a working mic and a stable internet connection.

What Nioret brings to the table

I have a map for every single location in the module, as well as many off-book locations. Along with a compelling performance and voices, my personalized Foundry VTT software will take care of everything else. I will walk you through any technical learning you may need. I tend to stick to Rules as Written so players know what to expect. This is also a "No Stupid Questions" table. Ask anything you want as often as you want. This is a roleplay safe space, there is no "bad' roleplay here as long you're operating in good faith. Have fun and don't worry about your how awful your accents may be. All you need to do, is show up and have a good time. 🙂

Safety

How Nioret creates a safe table

Players can look forward to a cozier setting within the adventure , traversing Obojima with endless encounters both roleplay/combative, and a strong narrative where their choices matter. Session Zero will cover a non-spoiler overview of additions, as well as trigger warnings, house rules, and both the expectations of the party and players. Our sessions are generally 4 hours long, with a 15 minute break halfway through.
