About the adventure

Celestial events are taking shape, and the world is on the brink of a grand astral conjunction. The stars and planets will soon be in alignment to empower the most potent dark sorceries the world has seen in millennia. The last time the convergence occurred the realms were convulsed. It's been almost one hundred years since the last convergence. There has been peace since those savage wars with armies of undead, ogres, demonic armies and evil wizards. The wars and the reasons for them are all but forgotten. Yet, there have been an increase in disrtubances on the frontier...raids conducted by soldiers dressed in red and black; graveyards and shrines desecrated; mines and miners ceasing to be heard from... Dungeon Crawl Classics #14 Dungeon Interludes provides a series of one-shots that can be played either as a stand-alone adventure or a linked campaign. As the scenarios unfold, there are plot hooks, tidbits and clues that reveal this plot line and tie one adventure into the next. However, the adventures can also easily be played separately. Come play one! If you sign up before everyone else, you can determine the episode (provided we get the change enacted on StartPlaying before another subscriber joins...or we can get a concensus). Which game system? We can always play the adventure as D&D, DCC or Shadowdark. If you sign up before everyone else, you can determine the system (provided we get the change enacted on StartPlaying before another subscriber joins...or we can get a concensus).

About me

My GM style is relaxed, story-rich, and focused on collaborative fun. I run dynamic, sandbox-style campaigns where player choices matter and the world reacts accordingly. One-shots are brisk and punchy, racing toward satisfying conclusions. Custom campaigns are always shaped by player preferences, character backgrounds, and group play styles. I use “destiny dice” and “iron dice” to keep things thrilling—embracing both luck and consequence to create stories that stick with you. I prize player agency above all. The real magic happens when fate, risk, and reward intertwine—those moments when a single die roll can alter everything. Whether you want to kick down doors, solve mysteries, forge political alliances, or explore the unknown, I’ll help tailor the experience to your group’s vibe. My goal is always to create unforgettable memories shaped by your choices and the chaos of the dice. I’ve played and run a massive range of systems—D&D (from the original boxed set to 5e), Gamma World, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Metamorphosis Alpha, Call of Cthulhu, Traveller, and far more. I’m also ready to dive into Tales of the Valiant and Outgunned. My campaigns take place in rich, varied settings like the Forgotten Realms, Mystara, Blackmoor, Hyperborea, and original worlds. I own and run modules from WotC, Kobold Press, Frog God Games, DCC/MCC, and tons of third-party publishers. If it’s been written, I’ve probably read it—and if I haven’t, I can get up to speed quickly. I’ve been rolling dice since Tunnels & Trolls and the earliest days of D&D—back when Chainmail was still in play. Since then, I’ve lived a wild, story-filled life both in and out of games, and I now bring that passion to the table full-time. From kids’ birthday games to corporate team-building to grognard reunions, I’ve run it all. I believe the best games are forged in shared challenges and the camaraderie that comes with them. Let’s tell amazing stories together. TL;DR: Veteran GM with a massive RPG library and decades of experience. I run fun, story-driven games shaped by player choices, fate, and creativity. You bring the characters—I’ll bring the world!

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will start out at 1st level. Before the game the character cn be made on Discord or D&DBeyond. I will send you and invite to the campaign on Discord. Pre-Made Characters are available on request.

The current party

Armed with the map and several rumors found in the Dünerain mines, the party locates Skullshank’s former wizard’s tower. The Summoner’s ancient tower now lies slowly sinking into the bubbling tar pits deep in a feral jungle. The fearsome architecture used to dominate the landscape, but after lying abandoned for decades, the surrounding terrain has reverted to its primordial state and grown wild once more. The group must battle wild beasts and Skullshank’s own minions to keep powerful magic items from falling back into the Summoner’s clutches. Can the party find what they’re looking for and get out of the tower before it sinks forever into the murk? This adventure is the 5th chapter played as a one shot with your favorite 9th to 11th Level characters. Come play this chapter...get hooked on the excellent series.
