Tales of the Mushroom Kingdom | Sunday D&D in the Mario World 🍄
When two legendary heroes- plumber brothers known across the land- vanish without a trace, a new group of heroes is called to save them
About the adventure
The Mushroom Kingdom is in peril. Two legendary heroes—plumber brothers known across the land for their daring exploits—have vanished without a trace. Now, new champions must take up the call: adventurers of all kinds will leap across treacherous chasms, brave vine-choked fortresses, and plumb the depths of ancient warp-pipe dungeons. Along the way, they’ll harness strange and wondrous power-ups—magic mushrooms, flowers, and more—to face the dangers ahead. In this land of towering mushrooms, floating platforms, and question-marked mysteries, only the boldest can hope to rescue the brothers and restore peace to the kingdom.

Tyler is an honestly perfect DM for my chaotic audhd brain. He allows for creative freedom, has amazingly in depth worlds, and helps guide us feral party players without being restrictive. I'm in multiple (read....almost all at this point lmao) of his campaigns and I love every single one - both Tyler as the DM and the environment he's cultivated for players:D 100000/10 recommend.
Tyler is the kind of DM who takes our disastrous ideas and quirky characters and makes them feel like part of a thoughtfully planned narrative. He juggles intrigue, chaos, and questionable character decisions with effortless skill, keeping the world reactive and immersive—despite our best attempts to derail it. Final Score: 5/5, would drug a guard again.
loved loved loved this session , it was awesome !!! DM included everybody equally and really helped us as most of us were beginner players but he made us feel like we've been playing for a long time ( as a new player some dm's can make you overwhelmed this definitely was not the case ) awesome one shot :D definitely would play again
Character creation
Creating your character
Players can create level 1 characters, choosing from several different Mushroom World races: Toadstool, Poplin, Koopa, Yoshi, Shy Guy, Monty Mole, Kong, or Kremling, or other video game races such as Inkling, Kirby, or Pac-Worlder. We will begin with a free Session 0 where players can create characters and discuss the game. Anybody who joins the campaign later should coordinate with me to make sure either I can make your sheet or you can!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have created accounts for Roll20 and Discord and connected to the server to ensure a smooth start to the game. Players should also message me to discuss whether you want to create your character yourself or if you want me to create it.
What Tyler Lewis Wardle - Dungeon Master brings to the table
I use Roll20 for combat and maps and use Discord for voice chat. I tend to be a pretty lax DM, embracing the Rule of Cool and making the game more about being fun and creating an awesome story! I am a writer and I have a background in theatre, so I can create intricate characters and plotlines. I'm also a master worldbuilder, having spent countless hours developing various D&D worlds.
