About me
My passion for Dungeons & Dragons began years ago, and it’s grown into an enduring love for the game. I’ve played and mastered countless campaigns, from Westmarches-style to my own homebrewed adventures. One thing I’ve learned is that a balanced mix of role-playing and combat is essential. I believe both can coexist seamlessly. I design and run combat encounters where role-playing is as impactful as optimization, and I ensure monsters react dynamically to player actions. For instance, imagine casting Haste on the big bad evil guy and pretending to join their dark side, only to drop concentration and watch as your party dismantles the foe in its lethargic state. My dedication to D&D goes beyond the table. Even at work, I find myself thinking of statblocks and devising scenarios like a Molten Magma Roper paired with a Druid of the Old Ways summoning walls of fire. I consider the terrain, stakes, and whether beloved NPCs might betray the party. I anticipate how players might use tools like a Ring of Fire Resistance they acquired sessions ago. Ultimately, my goal is to connect with diverse people and facilitate storytelling. I strive to ensure players have fun and collaborate to create compelling narratives with fascinating characters.

If you’re are a new player Zero is the dm for you! Zero is my first start playing dm and he is very much the reason I’m still using the platform. As someone who’d played before in real life but was brand new to online DnD Zero not only helped me get everything set up he also helped me work out a character that worked best for me. Once the campaign started I was completely immersed, his story telling is wonderful and he weaves players backstories into the happenings of his campaign. He masterfully balances role play with engaging combat allowing the players to drive the story while also giving leads if we want to chase them. He makes the setting feel real and each combat encounter feels like it has real weight. I cannot stress enough how much I’m looking forward to future adventures!
I've played many games with ZeroCool, on Westmarches and in private games, and consider him to be an exceptional DM (this is something starkly noticeable in a format like a Westmarch where you're exposed to many DMs). For one, his storytelling and narratives are engaging, well described, and well paced. He has a good voice with strong clarity (which I consider to be of extreme importance). He takes the time to create appropriate maps and visuals. His NPCs are well-developed, and well-played. His descriptions are strong, and he can create an appropriate atmosphere for the moment. As well, and importantly, he consistently offers superior combats. Challenging and well tuned battles for high-Tier and well-equipped PCs are extremely difficult to create, let alone execute, and I considered ZC to be the best at it on our server. Being able to manage high-level combats is incredibly difficult, with a large number of creatures or abilities to manage, and ZC excels at creating well-paced battles that always surprise me (something difficult to do, as I'm quite experienced with the game's monsters, and excellent at tactical projection and analysis). Finally, I've found ZC to be very pleasant to play with. He lets PCs exercise their creativity and rewards them for it, but also doesn't let them bully him and is willing to shut down the more ridiculous things that PCs might try to do. He maintains a fun atmosphere for every player, with little drama. I highly recommend considering ZeroCool for YOUR game!

I'm a player that has come back to TTRPGs after a 30 year hiatus. I'm tech savvy but all the apps and sites are new to me. Zero spent time with me to make sure I understood everything and was confident going into the game. Most importantly to me, he wanted me to shape my character so he had a complete back story and history that was relevant to the campaign and it's flow. This means I'm playing a character that can make a difference and his story will be part of the campaign's future. But the thing that impressed me most, and continues to, about the way he runs his games is that he takes his time to ensure every player has a voice and time to be them, tables can be quite loud but he ensures that everyone can add their opinion as an equal member, whether it is a RP or combat situation. Also got to love he asks for criticism, actively seeks it, at the end of each session. I'd recommend him to anyone and keep up the good work Zero.

Preparing for the session
All PCs will be starting at 3rd level, I will be speaking with each individual to help them set up their character, and give them more information to help them play a character that feels like it lives in the world we'll be in. You will be able to change and adjust your team composition in order to make sure you have a proper(fun) adventuring party. Meaning you'll know and be able to adjust what you want to play based on what everyone else is playing. More information about the process can be provided.
