About the adventure
The Woodland is no longer quiet. The Marquisate has turned the Emberwood Glade into a supply line of war and industry—trees fall like whispers, rivers run choked with ash, and every den is watched. The Eyrie Dynasties muster at the edges, desperate to reclaim old glory, while the Riverfolk Company smiles with silvered teeth, selling arms to both sides. Beneath it all, the Woodland Alliance whispers through the leaves, waiting for the right moment to strike. But the real danger isn’t in the open—it’s in the shadows, where ancient relics pulse with forgotten power and long-buried oaths are being unearthed. Some say the Firebrand, a long-lost revolutionary, has returned. Others say they’re just a myth to stir hope. You are Vagabonds—scoundrels, scholars, warriors, and mystics. Bound by no flag, no crown, and no coin unless it serves you. War brews. Alliances shift. The woods remember. But when a dying mouse clutching a scorched map breathes their final warning in your arms—“Don’t let them wake the Rootmother…”—your path twists into legend. Do you fight for freedom, profit… or something other then yourself?

About me
Hello! My name is Diamond Welch, and I'm excited to give this whole professional Game Master thing a good college try! This isn’t my first time being a Game Master or storyteller. I usually run superhero tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), World of Darkness games, Dungeons & Dragons, and various other TTRPGs. I also serve as a storyteller for two LARP events that I organize, so I have plenty of experience! I value drama, intrigue, and, most importantly, some good old action and improvisation! I hope that when I have a game ready to run, you all will give it a shot! However, there are certain behaviors I simply won’t tolerate at my table. I will not accept bigotry of any kind, hate speech, or anything that makes me or the players feel uncomfortable. I want my table to be a safe space for everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or background. I am also available to run solo sessions or one-shots for those who apply and choose to book me! Just send me a DM to arrange your booking for these sessions!

Creating your character
You are welcome to design your characters for the campaign, but we will hold a dedicated session zero before starting the game. During this session, we will carefully review each character you've created and discuss how they fit into the overarching narrative and setting of our story. Character creation materials will be provided. This collaborative approach will ensure that each character contributes meaningfully to the game world and allows for deeper connections with the plot and other characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will be sending out a Discord link to access the game server. Since we will be using voice chat during our gaming sessions, please ensure you have a working microphone and are situated in a quiet environment to minimize background noise. This will help us communicate effectively and enhance the overall gaming experience for everyone involved. Thank you!
What Diamond Welch [The ForeverST/GM] brings to the table
I use Discord to really immerse my players by setting the tone of each scene with a mix of atmospheric music and stunning visuals. I carefully choose pictures that instantly capture the essence of the setting, whether it’s an eerie landscape, a bustling town, or the tension before a big showdown. The music I pick matches the environment and enhances the emotions of the moment—whether it’s a peaceful lull or an intense battle about to unfold.

How Diamond Welch [The ForeverST/GM] creates a safe table
We will discuss what is comfortable for players, along with the "Do's and Don'ts" of our game. While we will be playing in this setting as in time it may get gritty and suspenseful. It's important to emphasize that we fully respect each other’s boundaries. I want to reiterate that my goal is to create a safe space for everyone at our table.
