Great game, great DM. I played a one shot with Bora and two other plays. What I liked most of all was the pace was, for me, perfect. I sometimes struggle to remain focused, but this game got right to the good stuff and didn't stop. Kept my attention throughout and I had a great time. Good use of VTT to enhance gameplay (again - keeping things moving!) and common sense GM decisions to keep it fun for us. The adventure was fun, challenging and we were encouraged to play our characters and enjoy ourselves. Sadly, we all died - but that was how the dice fell! Probably one of more enjoyable games played online. Would play with again and so should you!
Character creation
Creating your character
You will be starting at level 1 and a free feat, I prefer using point buy or stanard array for stats. We will be using roll20 for character creation. I'd like to go over character creation at session 1 with everybody since the game will likely have newer players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic and accounts for Discord and Roll20 are all that you need!
What Bora brings to the table
I usually go with a rule of cool approach (as long as it isn't overused). You can expect a good ratio of combat and roleplaying, on the other hand I'm not very fond of puzzles so you won't be seeing much of those :). I'm open to most suggestions and have a lot of fun with homebrew from time to time. As long as you run it by me first, I have no problems with homebrew classes/races/backgrounds.
Homebrew rules
You can drink a potion as a bonus action and roll for the health gain or drink it as an action and get the highest amount possible.

Safety
How Bora creates a safe table
For every game I run, we go over what might trigger any player in a session 0. These things will never come up during the game (we are all here to have fun, a player should never have to feel uncomfortable). That being said things might come up during game that weren't thought of before, this is why I use a "Red Button" policy: Whenever a player feels uncomfortable, they only have to say "Red Button" or "Stop" and we will pause, skip or talk about what is going on according to the player's wishes.
