The Cailleadh Chronicles: From My Cold Dead Hand
A noble’s journey north uncovers vanishing villagers, buried curses, and a rising evil beneath twin moons in the snowbound wilds of Talamh Sneatcha.
About the adventure
Entering this world, you will experience a world of high fantasy blended with a little steampunk. There are many continents filled with diverse creatures, corporations, peoples, and their gods. Harsh tyrants rule some lands, others by cooperative councils, and a few are lawless wastelands where the only order comes from the edge of a blade. As it was, and forever shall it be, the northern continent of Talamh Sneatcha remains snow covered and frozen. Many from the southern, more temperate, regions have tried to tame this wild continent but none have truly succeeded. Only the Goliaths have learned to be part of the land, to live along with the storms, ice, and monstrosities that abide here. You have your reasons for taking this job. Everyone who comes to Fort Colmord is running from something. High elves have money and if a foppish wastrel of a noble wants to visit his family’s most remote estate you will gladly take that money. Maybe you will escape your past in the frost covered forests. Maybe you will meet your destiny under the ice of a long frozen lake. Maybe, you will become a hero and save the world. Maybe.

About me
I love to DM. I love to work with others to tell a story. I've DM'd off and on since I was a teen. 5e has really gotten me excited for the stories and good times I can have with others. Being a DM gives me the opportunity to share more of who I am, to create, to flex my improv ability, and to communicate with others. Online roleplaying has really suited me. Being technically inclined I've dove into the tools and have created some pretty interesting worlds and stories that I'd like to share with others. I have created a world, Cailleadh (yah i can barely pronounce it either :)) and all my games are run in this world. Come play and help me flesh out my world with our stories!

I loved that he was patient with me as a new player, built an incredible storyline, and was genuinely excited for us to do well and have fun! I really appreciated that he did a lot of purposeful work on the campaign with maps, voices, NPCs, monsters and so much more while leaving room for us to be creative and throw curve balls his way. He is an incredibly fair-minded DM with a ton of experience and I will absolutely be playing with him again. 10 out of 10!
MrMortis is a very approachable, fun and in my case, beginner friendly GM. Here are a few traits of his GM style that make his games memorable. - His ability to think on his feet when dealing with unexpected things that the PC's throw at him is exceptional. Once my group escaped a submarine by creating a portal to the astral plane. Without skipping a beat, he was able to create the scenario of the astral plane and it's environment. It was super fun! - There's no pressure to role play if that's not your cup of tea. The games are balanced with role play for those that like it and plenty of monsters for the other 'murder hobos' to hit for those that like killing things. - MrMortis is very approachable and understanding as a GM. When I was having issues with how I felt about my character, I was able to reach out and discuss alternatives/ ideas for my paladin to make her more enjoyable to play, and thus making my experience more enjoyable during sessions. All in all I highly recommend MrMortis as your next GM.
Have played 5 campaigns with Earl so far and each one has been unique and fun. Earl puts a ton of effort into ensuring that each player has a place in the story and can contribute in whatever way feels natural for them. He's quick to adapt when things go in an unexpected direction and gives a top notch experience for everyone, regardless of skill level. Zero drama and a nearly bottomless level of patience for all the weird stuff I threw at him as a new player. Highly recommended.
MrMortis is a terrific GM with a really engaging narrative style. He makes sure to make all of his players feel included and appreciated. He creates an interesting world and seamlessly weaves your character's story into it. It's a delight to be a part of his table and participate in writing a compelling story with other players in the world of Cailleadh! :]

What MrMortis brings to the table
At our table the number one rule is to have fun! -Voices, I'm no voice actor but I can be pretty funny. I have a great evil cackle :D -Balanced role play with combat. I find combat is always more thrilling if we are invested. -I have a few house rules I employ but nothing too hard to remember. -Mystery, character development, wacky shop owners, vile villains, adventure and fun. Those are my thing.
