About the adventure
Legend has it that way back in the roaring 2020's, Night City's Edgerunning community converged at a nightclub called The Afterlife. Drugs, guns, fixers, gigs and even some output/input to spend the night with: The Afterlife had it all. But by the end of the 4th Corporate War, the club went silent. Another casualty to the ever-turning gears of war. More than two decades of rebuilding later, the name isn't much more than a rumor - anyone left from the old days has long since died or moved on to greener pastures, leaving the Afterlife as a myth that the young hoodlums tell one another. Until now. A new group of up-and-comers are making a name for themselves, rising from the gutters of South Night City to the skyscrapers of The Glen and it seems like they're not the only ones. As Night City emerges from the ashes of the Time of the Red, mysterious forces have set to work - their chief agenda? Restoring a club called the Afterlife to its former glory, and then some. Either you're a Cyberpunk vet or are just starting to think of chroming up and chippin in, com experience a city-wide sandbox full of action, intrigue and memorable moments. Start your journey as an up-and-coming EdgeRunner, restore the legendary Afterlife to its former glory and become a Night City legend in the process!

About me
Hey, I'm Mobi! I've been a Dungeon Master for over 20 years now, running all kinds of games in all kinds of systems. I've hosted everything from quick one-shots to campaigns that last for years—my longest one ran for about three and a half years straight. I love building worlds, telling stories, and watching players bring them to life in ways I never expected. I found out that working as a production manager in the film industry sharpens your skills as a Dungeon Master by honing your ability to juggle complex logistics, manage diverse personalities, and craft immersive narratives under pressure. You can expect plenty of cinematic sequences and detailed descriptions in my games, along with fleshed out npcs with their own life and agenda. At my table, everyone's welcome—no matter your background, beliefs, or experience level. The only rule is mutual respect. If you're here to have fun and treat others well, you're in the right place.

Creating your character
We will create our characters on Session 0, where we'll go over the game system for those who are new to it, and we'll talk about what everyone expects from the game and how we can accommodate those expectations into the game world. If players prefer to create their characters beforehand, even better! Just bring your sheet into session 0 so you can tell me all about your character, its backstory and what you expect from the game. Beginners and newcomers are all welcome!
Party lineup is: 1) Medtech, 2) Exec, 3) Media, 4) Nomad, 5) Rockergirl & 6) Fixer
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll only need an internet connection, a discord account (free) and a mic. Webcam is always optional; I tend not to use it for immersion reasons. I'll provide the software (which is free for players) and all digital resources (books, supplements, DLCs, etc.). I'm also widely available for inquiries and chatter about your character or the story via discord.
What Mobi brings to the table
As a Dungeon Master, I adhere to the rules as written to maintain consistency and fairness, grounding my ttrpg campaigns in a structured framework that players can trust. This approach ensures everyone understands the mechanics and can strategize accordingly, fostering a balanced game. However, I embrace the "rule of cool" when it enhances the story, allowing epic, memorable moments that prioritize narrative excitement over strict adherence—like letting a player pull off a daring, physics-defying stunt if it fits the drama of a climactic scene. Additionally, when situations arise where no clear ruling exists, I make on-the-spot judgments based on the spirit of the game, drawing on my production manager instincts to keep the session flowing smoothly while ensuring the ruling feels fair and supports the story’s momentum.

How Mobi creates a safe table
We will be using the Lines and Veils system before session 0. At any moment players can take a break for whatever time they need, I'll run your character to the best of my ability or suggest a collective break if the situation merits it. After each session, I love doing a quick debrief to hear about your experience, make sure everyone had a blast, and figure out how we can keep making the game even better. I don't tolerate any and all forms of bullying, discrimination or grifter type behavior at my games. My ultimate goal is for my players to always have fun and feel safe when we gather to roleplay and won't hesitate to eject anyone who disrupts it.
