Adventures Across Golarion (Age of Ashes)
The Age of Lost Omens brought an end to prophecy, and with it an uncertain future. Many tales are yet to be told in this new age.
About the adventure
The world of Golarion is filled with legends and myths of brave individuals. Those that sought fame and riches beyond mortal means, those that toppled empires in the name of freedom from tyranny, and those that sought power above all else. Even the death of gods is woven into the tapestry of the land. It is a storied world, and you just so happen to live at the right time, and be at the right place to make your mark. So collect your gear, gather your companions and set forth into the world before you! Either delving the mega-dungeon that is the Abomination Vaults to building your own kingdom in Kingmaker, your choice is what decides the flow of events, and where they will eventually end. Will you be a fledgling adventurer, a more experienced warrior, or something in-between, only you get to decide that! - - - New and experienced players are welcome to apply and join! I love to teach people how to play, as well as having those that know the system remind me of certain ruling if I forget, and also help the new players along with me. There is no limit to what AP you pick. If you wish to go for the full 6 part APs, or just do a 3 part AP I am more then willing to accommodate. I even offer the option to pick 1e APs as well. Granted, you might have to wait a bit while I do some redesigning to bring it up to 2e. The only ones I am not willing to do for this are as follows: Rise of the Runelords Curse of the Crimson Throne Second Darkness Shattered Star Return of the Runelords These are being saved for a project I am working on behind the scenes. I am sorry if you had your heart set on those. Session 0 and Session 1 are free of charge. If you join into the middle of an ongoing campaign, your first session will be free as well. Think of these as a trial run with me as your GM, so you don't have to commit to any financial incentive if you prefer not to play after the fact.

About me
Hey! I'm Kalbi, and I have been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years, and been a GM for around 12 of those. While I do get a bit of an itch to play form time to time, I mainly love to GM people through games. When it comes to my style. While I like to stick to RAW, I am not against it people getting creative with the rules. I prefer fun over strict rule adherence. However, there is a limit.

Sets the Mood
I've played with this lad for years now, he generally has stuff together and is a blast to play with who has also rolled with most of the crazy things the parties I've been with have pitched, so long as we could make it work in game well enough. I've also lost track of how many times he's been willing to work with players who need help understanding things like rulings or the sometimes awkward wording, so if you need help with that he does a fantastic job. my favorite recent experience with him was him actually him reading what I typed for the rest of the party because my mic was dead at the time, and the bard and I had shared a bottle of wine that the bard had bought, and Kalbi came up with the funny idea of my ranger falling asleep curled up with the bottle after the party had a tough night and I died laughing so hard at the suggestion it took me awhile to type out agreeing to it. if that amuses whoever reads this as much as it did me, then I'd for sure suggest giving some thought to seeing if you'll come to like playing at his table as much as I do!
Kalbi's one of the people that got me into Tabletops almost 10 years ago and we still play to this day. Taught me how to play and always makes sure everyone is included at his table. I remember a time when he was roleplaying someone getting slammed on a desk and he actually hit his desk to make the sound for it. Our group was surprised at first cause none of us were expecting that and (after making sure he was okay and nothing actually happened) I enjoyed the extra detail it brought to the scene.
Character creation
Creating your character
Character Creation will be done on Session 0, after we pick the AP you wish to do. There, we can go over the Player's Guides and do some Q&A on what is and isn't allowed. For a general overview, I allow anything tagged as Common to be used, and anything tagged Uncommon or Rare must be run by me. Make sure your character fits with where the AP takes place as well. Don't want a Merfolk character if the AP takes place in the middle of Osirion desert, right?
What to expect
Preparing for the session
It goes without saying that you must at least have a working interent connection and mic at minimum, as this will be an online campaign. Make sure you also have a Forge VTT account, as I run my Foundry server though that service.
What Kalbi brings to the table
Upon picking the AP you wish to run as a group, I will build up the maps, tokens, and assets we need to run the AP. If Paizo has the AP already to go on Foundry, it will reduce prep time for myself, and we can run sooner. Estimated time for the earliest Session 1 for a AP I have to build by hand is about 2 - 3 weeks to have enough content for us to run. On top of that, I like to provide ambient music and do character voices. I may not be good at that in my personal opinion, but I still try.
Homebrew rules
*NOTE* This is completely optional, and you are free to ignore it. - - - A homebrew system I have been working on is Random Character Generation. I offer it as an alternative if you don't know what to play, or want a completely random, unknown experience for your character. What this entails is that you roll on a few tables for your Ancestry, Heritage, Background, and Class. All these options will be limited to the AP's Player's Gudie (with Remastered options in place of Legacy options), so it won't get super wacky. There is a trade-off, as this option is subject to the "Alternate Ancestry Boosts" rule, where you forgo the normal boosts/flaws, and instead get 2 free boosts with optional flaws. This way, you have more control over the stat distribution.

How Kalbi creates a safe table
In Session 0, I will be going over a few things. Mainly Lines and Veils will be discussed after Character Creation, so I have a basis on what to give warnings for. For example: If you have a fear of Spiders, I will tell you that the area ahead will feature spiders, and if you are uncomfortable with them, you are free to let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. - - - If for whatever reason you feel uncomfortable with any current scene going on, please message me and let me know. You are free to dip out and I will message you when the scene is complete if it a plot important scene, or adjust it to the best of my ability. If you miss anything important because of this, I will give you the spark notes on your return. - - - X, N, and O cam be vocalized over Discord, or privately messaged to me. Please just let me know if anything is too disturbing for you, and I will do my best to be accommodating.
