About the adventure
The game is excellent for beginners as it is very easy to play, and to run. Characters can be created in a matter of minutes due to the simple, yet broad rules. This particular game is intended to be more serious with more elements of horror than comedy. Players will be allowed to make their own custom characters or play as versions of themselves. This game is out of print, so I will provide PDF's of the rules, and accessories for players during our session zero. Since this game is out of print, I expect session zero to run a little longer than usual since I assume that I will be teaching the mechanics of the game to anyone who joins, which is fine.

About me
I live in Indianapolis, but I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains. I spent a lot of time camping out deep in forests and high on mountain tops. When I moved to Indy, the landscape was quite different, and I became more of an indoor person. I was introduced to tabletop RPGs by a coworker, and the sense of adventure they gave helped to fill that void left from leaving the mountains. I started DMing six years ago and use my experiences in the mountains to help weave vivid narratives from simple travel through the wilderness, to titanic battles between clashing armies. (I used to be a Civil War reenactor.) I also have a love for the Golden Age of Piracy, and the maritime history of that era. I am currently developing my own pirate TTRPG. The game will be primarily a historical game with some elements of light fantasy that would relate to sailors' beliefs and superstitions of that era. It is a simple base d10 system and combines elements of both classic RPG and wargame playstyles. My scheduling for games is very open. But I do have a biweekly work schedule. For example, if I work Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday one week, then the next week I will work Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. So, if you want to play weekly, we would have to stagger the days a little like. Tuesday one week, then Thursday the next. However, if you wanted to play at 7:00 pm or later EST, then this would not matter, I would be free any day that I do not have any games scheduled.

Character creation
Creating your character
We will create our characters in session zero. Characters will be very simple to create. There is no magic, no exotic races, no classes. You're just people, people who will have a few special skills to help you survive the campaign..
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need A mic only. I'm not going to insist players be on camera if they're not comfortable with it. You will need a set of d6's and one d6 that is different from the rest, this is a special die, called a ghost die, you will roll it with the rest, but you have to know which die this is, because it effects the outcome of your roll. This die is very important. I will provide necessary pdf's regarding rules and equipment during session zero.
What Benjamin brings to the table
I will provide them with all of the pdf's they will need to understand the game, and I will provide them with equipment cards and character sheets. I'm still working on audio, for music and sound effects, but I'm not sure if It will be available.
Homebrew rules
There are no homebrew rules, but I do have a set of house rules, which I will provide during session zero.

Safety
How Benjamin creates a safe table
Ghostbusters, though serious, and horror themed will still be lighthearted. So, there shouldn't be any inappropriate content. However, there could be some body horror elements depending on what type of ghosts are encountered. And there is the possibility of character death.
