About the adventure

Unsettling cries echo through a street wrapped in unnatural mist. What begins as a simple chase to reclaim sacred belongings becomes far stranger when you decide to step inside an old, silent manor. The door slams shut. The locks turn on their own. And suddenly—there is no way out. Inside, the house shifts and breathes, twisting hallways, rearranging rooms, and whispering secrets no sane mind should hear. Shadows stretch like claws. Portraits watch. Floors creak under footsteps that are not your own. Do you dare push deeper? Do you dare uncover what this house wants? Do you dare find out where you've been taken? 💖 Pulse-pounding suspense 🗺️ Epic Player Maps 📝 Out of this world storytelling 🎻 Incredible soundtrack 🎵 Suspenseful ambiance

About me

Greetings, adventurers! My name is Ryan (he/him), a Deaf Dungeon Master who thrives on storytelling, emotional arcs, and collaborative roleplay. I run inclusive, welcoming games that prioritize character-driven narratives, dynamic worldbuilding, and player growth. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned veteran, I create a space where everyone’s voice matters—literally and figuratively. I’m bilingual in English and American Sign Language (ASL), and I love working with diverse groups of players—especially those who are neurodivergent, disabled, queer, or otherwise underrepresented in TTRPG spaces. I believe everyone deserves a seat at the table. I’ve been DMing for over 4+ years and even founded the Dungeons & Dragons Club at Ripon High School to bring together fellow fans. I specialize in Curse of Strahd and dark, emotionally rich campaigns—but I also enjoy lighthearted adventures. Whether you’re into gothic horror, dramatic twists, or just making memories, I’ve got you covered. Need accessibility or communication accommodations? Just let me know—I’m flexible and happy to make it work for everyone. Let’s roll some dice and tell unforgettable stories together!

Character creation

Creating your character

Session 0 is free. We will go over character creation together as a group during session 0. Each player will start at level 2 and will have their full character present on Roll20. We will be using the D&D 5e 2024 rules.

The current party

The party will start at level 2.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need to have a decent microphone. Make sure you create a Roll20 and Discord account for the adventure.

What Ryan brings to the table

I will bring Roll20’s paid version to the table along with character tokens as long as you provide me with the image.

Homebrew rules

I would prefer if you stick to the 2024 5e rules.

Safety

How Ryan creates a safe table

This is a horror game, so players are required to communicate with the DM about any issue they may have. The DM is very flexible and open-minded.
