ABOUT THE GAME The New England Mystery Society (NEMS) is a fearless team of occult scholars, investigators, and Monstrous Heroes, uncovering dark truths hidden in New England’s shadows. Powered by Savage Worlds and the Horror Companion, this ongoing campaign delivers eerie discoveries and supernatural enigmas. NEMS is based in an enigmatic house perched on a secluded, cryptic island—a mystery wrapped inside an enigma, defying explanation at every turn. This campaign is designed for player flexibility, it remains open-ended and easy to join or leave. Its episodic structure embraces dynamic storytelling to accomodate a rotating cast of players/characters. Adventures will typically run for 1 to 3 sessions. Both the island and the house welcome new people. Always. How will character creation work

There are 3 ways to get this done: - Session 0 (where I can assist a group) - Privately (where I can assist a single player) - Self-made (on paper or in a personal copy of Foundry VTT and exported) The onboarding method depends on a player's familiarity with the game and their point of entry. Before Session 0, all onboarding methods are available. However, after Session 0, new players can only join through private onboarding or by creating their own characters independently.
