Delve into the Tomb of Kirana
Quest | One-Shot
About the adventure
You're a member of A.R.G., the Artefact Reclamation Group. Recently, a job was posted that demands you and your party's attention. An ancient pendant, known as Kirana's Locket, needs to be reclaimed. A.R.G. has come into the knowledge of where this jewelry has been laid to rest and now they needs their most expendable members to go get it. That's you! As a novice member of A.R.G., you'll be outfitted with the basic gear necessary to more than likely guarantee your success! And with the skills of a team of adventurers, there's no way you could fail. Right? Muster your courage and brave the wilderness landscape, venture forth into the unspoiled lands of Aronia and delve deep into the tomb of Kirana to retrieve her necklace. Sounds easy, yeah?
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.

How to prepare
Have an adequate microphone (camera is encouraged but not required). In order to play, you will require stable and reliable internet service. I also encourage you to be prepared to schedule your time out in advance to be certain that you will be in attendance of upcoming game sessions. Come to session 0/character creation with a character concept in mind. I can basically help you to create anything that you might have your eyes set upon.
What I provide
I will prepare space for players in my mini campaigns/long form campaigns/oneshots/multishots in my discord server. Once you are there, you will be granted access to threads devoted specifically to your game(s). You will be able to participate in group conversation, character building and collaboration with the other players as much or as little as you like. I will also provide access to a virtual tabletop via Roll20. There you will have access to materials that are pertinent to the game (i.e. - handouts, NPC information, as well as music and images that inspire the game locations). I will provide access to rules and resources that might be required, though I do encourage players to get copies of rulebooks for themselves! I do not provide dice or physical materials.
Gameplay details
As a GM I do take player safety quite seriously. I will hold a session 0 for each mini campaign/campaign/oneshot/multishot adventure. During this session, we review lines/veils and what the theme and topic limitations are for the group as a whole. All lines and veils are 100% anonymous. We also will review themes that are present within this game system. Session 0 will cover table expectations, player wishes or expectations, player responsibilities, as well as an overview on character creation. During game, we utilize x/n/o cards or the stoplight system. For campaigns or multishots, we will also do stars and wishes after each game. We strive to do decompression after each game, whether it be held via voice chat/video call or done via messaging. The tables I run have an open door policy as well as time built-in for a break during sessions. I do not have qualms with players eating at the table, either.

How will character creation work
Time will be arranged for character creation with the group. During that session, I give each player the opportunity to ask questions, review character options and make selections, as well as work together with the other players to establish existing character bonds based on mutually agreed upon backstory.
