About the adventure
In this adventure, I will be running my favorite campaign ever written. The Dungeon of The Mad Mage has 20+ levels of dungeons all waiting to be explored, that will take your characters from level 1 all the way to level 20, with several dungeons at max level. Will your characters succeed in their goals? Or fall victim to the Mad Mage like countless before them? This game is for anyone who enjoys story telling, combat, roleplay, character relationships, and discovering a full and complex story. A basic understanding of DND 5e mechanics would really help, but I'm also very happy to help newer players learn, I have taught many in the past! I want you to feel connected to your character and the story, so we will work together to weave you into the story in a profound way and make you feel heroic as well!
Game style
Rules as Written (RaW)
Games that are ran “Rules as Written” emphasize realism and stick to the letter of the rules, allowing players to explore creative solutions while still operating under a consistent rule set. Players have the ability to utilize the rules in creative ways to create awesome characters and moments in the game.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!

How to prepare
In order to join my game, all you need is an idea of a character that you think will be fun! Everything else we can work together to make sure your vision is brought to life.
What I provide
I have large, custom maps for each level of the adventure. I can also help with token making, from art generation to making the actual token that will represent your character. As well I provide background music during the sessions, and personalized stories for everyone.
Gameplay details
Session 0 will be character creation and basic introduction to the story. I will always be willing to talk about how a session is going or went, and encourage feedback about you liked and didn't like.

How will character creation work
Players will decide as a group if they want to use Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or Point-Buy System As well, there will be bonuses based on your characters backstory that I will personally help you make. It might be a feat, an item, or stat increase. We will create characters together in a Session 0, and sculpt them before the next session to make sure you are satisfied.
