About the adventure
Welcome to Devilport, a nasty, violent and lucrative city on the shore of the Devil Sea. Devilport is a medieval dark fantasy sandbox with pirates, were-sharks, gangs, duelists, and brutal and nightmarish magic. 🔥 PLOT 🔥 From urchin to overlord. You'll start as newcomers to the city of Devilport, but soon opportunities will present themselves (paired with risks and danger). This sandbox-style campaign will allow you to rise in the city's power-hungry hierarchy. Your guile, boldness, and creativity will project you to the top, and you will eventually be able to influence the city's destiny: Crime and piracy, or legal trade and justice? 💜 SYSTEM 💜 With my innovative custom take on D&D, I offer a game that combines a deep narrative experience with a crime gang sandbox setting. The sophisticated narratology involves dramatic realism and character depth, while valuing role-play over crunchiness.

How to prepare
🎤 Microphone Required 💜 Discord Required 💻 Webcam Suggested ⏰ You'll need some 30 minutes for character creation. The Character Creation Itinerary should be completed at least 1 hour before the game starts.

- Extensive worldbuilding associated to my novels and other work. - A living city sandbox in a dark fantasy setting. - Ambient music. - Character voices. - Strong emphasis in narration: prologues, scenes, time-lapses, etc. - Occasional written chapters or scenes sent between games as extras. - A playtested custom take on D&D with more emphasis on narrative gameplay. - 20+ years of experience in ttrpg and fantasy writing.
Gameplay details
The players will provide lines and veils anonymously. These will be discussed on session 1 and reminded every few sessions.

How will character creation work
I'll provide a Character Creation Itinerary that will help you create your character at your own pace. The Character Creation Itinerary is themed and filled with in-game choices, so you will feel like playing already. You won't need a character sheet for the first session.
