Vampire the Masquerade - Night Road
Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition | Campaign
About the adventure
The unlife of the courier is not an easy one, but you ride this road every night. The open road is your hunting ground. running jobs for the undead elite—hauling secrets, smuggling contraband, and outrunning the dangers lurking in the dark. You drive fast, think faster, and trust no one but your Coterie. You and yours are back in Tucson, after all these years on the road. you forgotten why you left. but you know that you left for a reason. This game is for players who crave high-stakes action, tense decision-making, and the thrill of the chase. Expect a mix of brutal survival, political maneuvering, and pulse-pounding getaways. Do you play it safe, serving the Camarilla’s interests? Or do you take the Night Road on your own terms, forging a legend in the process? This is a faithful adaptation of Choice of Games Night Road. Its a Railroaded experience adapted for a Coterie to experience. I also have made a sequel, to be played after the story is done.
Game style
Rules as Written (RaW)
Games that are ran “Rules as Written” emphasize realism and stick to the letter of the rules, allowing players to explore creative solutions while still operating under a consistent rule set. Players have the ability to utilize the rules in creative ways to create awesome characters and moments in the game.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Time is flexible according to player needs. knowledge about Kumu is unnecessary! its really simple to use. This game is about politics and intrigue. Minimum Knowledge of VTM will help but is not nessesary!

Creativity
I truly enjoyed my time playing with Francisco/Ant! He truly took the time to build such an immersive world with unique characters, high stakes, and compelling stories. If you love an in-depth experience, I would highly recommend. He is great with beginners too! He really knows the lore of VTM and also cares for his players/characters.
I played in a shortish VtM campaign that he ran, and had a great time with it. He not only crafted a narrative that was interesting on its own, but he wove each player character into it thoughtfully, making sure that the overall story was enhanced and enhanced by each character and their personal story; everyone got a chance to shine in a natural feeling way, making sure that good character moments didn't ever feel as if they were taking away from the other characters. For me personally, in spite of me showing up a bit later than the other players, he took a part of my character's backstory and ran with it, utilizing it at the perfect times to create some incredibly dramatic and consequential moments. He also created plenty of opportunities for my character to show off their abilities in the present, and chances for them to push towards their future with some character development, and did it all in a way that felt very natural. The only thing I'd caution anyone about is that when it comes to this GM, narrative is king; the cost of maintaining an story that is as well paced as it is interesting and personally engaging is that it's not always possible to stop and work out all the details about everything your character does; if you're as detail oriented as I am, you might not like it either, but it's not anything that's actually problematic, since he prefers consequences to be from larger choices, instead of from little slips or goofs. All said, he's a superb and thoughtful narrative and character focused GM that will not disappoint, even if a wrench gets thrown in the works. I can't recommend him enough, and I would have happily taken part in his next campaign if it weren't for unavoidable scheduling issues on my end.
Great worldbuilding experience, everything laid out in excruciating detail. From character bios to maps and org charts, Ant sure does bring an unique take on DMing like no other. Aside from doing a lengthy homework, ensuring a deep layered world, he always keeps the player's interest as his top priority, oftenly asking for feedback to improve the sessions and keep things both interesting and accesible to any kind of player (seasoned or newly introduced to the world of ttrpgs).

How will character creation work
CHARACTER CREATION: - once players are in the campaign, there will be a discord channel with all the specific rules for character creation. However, here are some basics: - Players will be Neonates, in between 30 to 50 years old, from Tuccson. - UNAVAILABLE CLANS: Salubri, Thin Blood, any v20 bloodlines, homebrewed bloodlines. - AVAILABLE WITH A GOOD BACKSTORY/JUSTIFICATION: Banu haquim, Ministry, Ravnos, Hecata, Tzmisce - All others are available - This is a Camarilla game (at least at the start) - players start with the standard Neonate character creation rules - certain lore sheets are not allowed, on a case to case basis. - i allow more than a single loresheet only if it makes sense (for example: nephilim and the trinity). + the bloodline loresheets. - buying flaws for advantage points is NOT ALLOWED - some homebrew is allowed, all my homebrew is allowed for example. - all xp must be spent at character creation if possible. - merits such as resources or status are capped. consult to know which (no resources 5) - HIGH CLANS: Ventrue, Lasombra, Toreador, Tzcimisce, cappadocian, hecata (local), Banu Haquim. - all others are low clans. - Clan signature powers require teaching. (So u need a dragon to teach you vicissitude on top of having the disciplines. I do allow having amalgams on either dicipline slot tho)
