Completed a one shot with Casey. He quickly set the stage and got each player involved immediately. Casey did a great job introducing NPCs including great voice acting for each. He knows the rules very well. Great mix of role playing and fighting. Definitely would play with Casey as GM again.

Casey was a great GM and I would love to play again with them if I have time. Great story telling and environment, fun characters (I will miss Lugrod!), and well balanced combat. The did one of the Slaydium games, which was more combat focused, but he would be a great GM for a roleplaying game as well.

Casey is an absolute powerhouse of a DM! Their voice acting brings every NPC to life, one moment you're chatting with mysterious Greek lady, the next you're terrified of a whispering eldritch horror. How to prepare
A quality mic is useful, as is a webcam if you're comfortable being onscreen. If not, don't sweat it, but we will need to at least hear you. Roll Beyond is a great app that's useful for connecting Roll20 and D&DBeyond, two sites we use for the game. I'll also provide cheat sheets of the basic rules for anyone that wants one.
What I provide
I bring custom maps on a VTT courtesy of Roll20 and D&D Beyond-- I pay for membership so you don't have to! I LOVE immersive storytelling. I use cinematic music, gripping voice work, and engrossing narration to pull you into the story. Then I hand you the reins. Expect combat to be intense and brutal. Take no prisoners-- your enemies certainly won't. I'm always down to consider shenanigans. We abide the rule of cool fairly often, so feel free to ask! Also, I have my own discord channel where we can prep for the game, and you can talk amongst the party!
Gameplay details
I send a Lines & Veils sheet for you to fill out, to ensure the game stays safe for everyone. Terror is great. Horror can be traumatizing, so let's avoid that, shall we?

How will character creation work
When you sign up, be ready to build a level 10 PC with me, bring your PC from another D&D party, or play with a pre-fabbed one available at the table. Before our first session, we'll go over what everyone can expect from the game, and answer any questions. Backstory is great, but keep in mind this game is mostly centered around combat.
