About the adventure

• Starts at level 1 and ends at level 11. • Some combat emphasis, lots of roleplay opportunities. • Have a lasting impact on the world. • Punch a god. Beginner-friendly. Light survival elements. Welcome to the Far North. Explore Ten-Towns, where the desperate denizens hope to appease Auril the Frostmaiden, sacrificing food, warmth, and even their own neighbours in hopes of ending the perpetual winter chill. Build your reputation with Ten-Towns and the Council of Speakers by investigating concerns of missing folk and dubious stories of monsters in the dark. Some tall tales, however, have more than a kernel of truth to them, and Auril is not one to take interference lightly. Will you put an end to the Everlasting Rime, or fall prey to the bitter cold?

About me

I have been playing D&D for over six years and running games for the past four. It's my passion (read: obsession), and I aim to introduce more to this fantastic hobby, because it really should be shared with as many people as possible. My games usually contain a healthy amount of roleplay (as a voice actor, I just can't resist), tactically challenging combat, and exploration is rewarding for each player, whether through investigative sleuthing, or if you search by hitting things until they give up their secrets.

Safety

How Samuel creates a safe table

Safety Tools: Triggers and content can be discussed openly or in private. General D&D violence and gore is a part of the game and cannot be avoided. X and N cards can be sent privately or said openly, depending on player preference. Aftercare can be made available upon request. Breaks are taken at natural points, but in extreme cases (ie. character death), they will happen immediately after to check in. Session 0: Introduction to Icewind Dale as an area of the Forgotten Realms, character creation, and discussion of any homebrew rule changes. Basic rule rundown for any beginners.
