DOCTOR WHO 5e: SPLIT DECISION
Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Doctor Who RPG | Campaign
About the adventure
OOPS, ALL DOCTORS! After a mysterious explosion, the Doctor finds themselves shattered into five splintered personas—each embodying a single facet of the original. Stranded in the now, these fractured selves must hunt down the time-scattered pieces of the TARDIS and use its fusion matrix to become whole again. With the help of the Companion—a quantum cohort who senses timey-wimey anomalies and the memorybanks of the TARDIS —they’ll navigate all of time and space while answering the universe’s most pressing questions: Doctor What? Doctor When? Doctor Where? Doctor Why? Doctor How? ...and most importantly: DOCTOR WHO?
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

Jack is the creme de la creme of dungeon masters. I enjoyed a particularly fabulous game of "Eat the Reich"-- a wild ride through a delirious, blood-soaked fever dream. Imagine Quentin Tarantino directing a World War II grindhouse flick with a cast of undead Allied soldiers hopped up on sauerkraut and vengeance, and you've successfully captured how Jack made us feel. DNGN CLUB's very own glorious Führer of fun masterfully orchestrated the chaos, in the sacred tradition of an over-caffeinated history professor who just chugged a gallon of cherry Kool-Aid and decided to run a game where we punched Nazis, drank their blood, and occasionally burst into spontaneous polka. But seriously, Jack was amazing. He kept the rules clear, the action flowing, and the laughs coming. He rolled with our ridiculous antics and somehow managed to weave it all into a cohesive and thrilling narrative. If you ever get the chance to play "Eat the Reich" with Jack, do it. You won't regret it. Unless you're a Nazi. Then you'll definitely regret it.
Jack is one of the best DMs that I have ever played with. He makes a concerted effort to maintain the pace of the game while being insanely creative with his storytelling. It allows for an incredibly fluid, momentus game where everyone gets a chance to contribute to story building. 10/10 would recommend if you have the opportunity to play with him.
I played in a 6-part mini campaign at 20th level, which is, needless to say, a lot to handle as a DM. Jack handled the difficulty of dealing with such powerful characters with grace, despite our repeated trouncing of the villain's. Additionally, Jack was responsive to questions quickly, and their slightly modified version of the rules really leans into Rule of Cool and players being able to accomplish what they want.
Jack is an incredible story teller. He will keep you guessing about what is going to happen next and you will often think your character isn’t going to make it out alive lol. But they do, MOST of the time. And for beginners like me, he is so patient and thoughtful. He wants everyone to have a great experience and I highly recommend giving his games a try.
