About the adventure
Along with Elturel, Baldur's Gate has been plunged into the Nine Hells. Powerful elemental evils have ravaged the land. Demon lords control the Underdark. Tiamat has wiped out the Lord's Alliance, the Order of the Gauntlet, and the Emerald Enclave. And at the helm of all things, controlling the entire Sword Coast and much of Faerun is Vecna: the Undying King. Only the heartiest, bravest, and most cunning adventurers can hope to survive in the Doomed Forgotten Realms; only the best of those can hope to begin fighting off the evil that controls the world. This campaign will run from level 1-20. PLEASE NOTE: DM Bob Yo is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion. DM Bob Yo hosted a seminar on a VTT system I was curious about. He was very knowledgeable about the program, presented the information about it in an easy-to-digest way, and was able to answer all questions without difficulty. From this brief interaction alone, I can already tell that he is quick-thinking, humorous, patient, and flexible. He's an excellent presenter who knows his materials well, and I think he has a lot to share with interested parties!

How to prepare
Prior to play, you'll want to have both Fantasy Grounds Unity (the Free DEMO version is fine) and Discord installed on your devices. If you've not used these services before, don't worry! Newbies are more than welcome, and I try to make myself available to anyone ahead of time who needs technical assistance. Once you're in the Discord, I'll be available for assistance in creating characters or anything else you might need.
What I provide
I bring the story and all of the maps/mechanical necessities. I also provide access to a shared DnDBeyond campaign containing all of the character creation options, and a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate License so players don't need to purchase anything.
Gameplay details
I'll make Monte Cook's RPG Consent Checklist available to everyone; in addition, I have safety tools build into Fantasy Grounds that can be used anonymously any time you wish. We'll discuss all safety tools in length in session zero.

How will character creation work
Characters will start at Level 1. You may use any official D&D sources including custom lineage and other options from Tasha's. No partner content, homebrew, or Unearthed Arcana, though I'm a big fan of reskinning/re-flavoring. Character creation should be done either in DnDBeyond or Fantasy Grounds. Upon joining you'll be given a link to join my DnDBeyond campaign which will give them access to all of the published Dungeons & Dragons character options. Please be sure to check the Prep Materials after you sign up for more details about character creation, as well as links to my Discord server that we'll use for chat and voice during our sessions.
