DM Ron is a seasoned veteran when it comes to role playing and setting the mood for gameplay. He's a talented storyteller that brings his games to life with mood and atmosphere. He's also an established teacher that's great for bringing in and mentoring beginner players, so they're able to effectively use the VTT to jump right into the adventure and make the most of the game from their very first session. To sum up my experience with DM Ron, he knows the game's rules, he knows the VTT tools, and he doesn't let either get in the way of getting to know his players, so they have an exciting night of gameplay that they'll be raving about and sharing with others again and again and again.

You will feel welcomed as a player! Ron also is so quick on his feet. I came up with a PC to NPC interaction on the fly and he rolled with it like a master. Allows players to breath and RP with eachother and NPCs which is a plus for me.

What I provide
I bring years of experience that I use to create an immersive world where player backgrounds matter and their choices help drive the plot in places none of us might have expected. With my D&D Beyond Subscription I share my resources with players like the 2024 PHG, DMB, and MM. I set up our game on Foundry VTT, where I have hundreds of maps and scene art, including many that are animated by some of the best map makers out there! Additionally, I set up Foundry with great music and ambient sounds through my Syrinscape subscription. We will use my Discord Server for video and audio (use of a camera is optional for players). I have established a great, positive Discord community where the players from all of my campaigns can interact and have fun. Gameplay details
We will have a FREE SESSION ZERO during which we will discuss boundaries and safety tools. Additionally, each player will be able to share their boundaries anonymously through the Digital Deck of Player Safety.

How will character creation work
Once a player has joined a campaign, I immediately invite them to the campaign Discord server and begin discuss the character they want to play. Often, the players' characters are created before the FREE session zero, but if not, we finalize characters at that time. I am very pro-player and have almost no restrictions when it comes to character creation. We will use the 2024 rules; however, if there is something that you want to play from any 2014 or third party supplement, I am sure we can make that happen for you.
