About the adventure
Learn to play Dunegons and Dragons with this starter campaign that will take players from level 1 to Level 3! This short campaign will take you through general basics of Dungeons and Dragons like combat, movement, inventory to name a few and leave you prepared to tackle bigger, more complex campaigns. The story begins when you and the other players arrive to Stormwreck isle in a wreck of yourselves. As you explore the island you meet various fun characters who ask for help in facing the dangers of the island while also telling you its history. You would learn that in this island many years ago once lived many strong and mighty dragons and the island itself holds the powers these beasts once held. However, the lingering magic has caused disturbances in the island by bringing in strange monsters. As the player it is your job to find and solve all the mysteries the island has to offer while also perhaps saving the land from certain doom! This campaign is: *Neurodivergent friendly *LGBTQ+ friendly
Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi! I have been running games on and off for the past few years! My passion for games derives from the amazing possibilities for storytelling, creating personal communities and the psychological/emotional benefits that come from playing and running TTRPGs. I find I work best with beginner groups, can't wait to see you at my (virtual) table!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be done in session 0 where we will also be discussing triggers and concerns as well as getting to know one another better. For character creation anything that you have available on DnD beyond with the exception of Homebrew is ok. This campaign also comes with pregenerated character sheets which we can use instead depending on your preference.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this campaign you will need a computer, a microphone/headset, a dndbeyond account, a roll 20 account, a Discord account and you will need to download the browser extension Beyond20.
What Ariel brings to the table
I have the module on Roll 20 and most sourcebooks for character creation on DnD beyond. You can send me pictures of your characters and I can work on creating Custom tokens for you. If you need additional resources on how to play and Dice let me know and I will bring you those sources right away. In games we will have ambient music that you can control the volume to your own personal liking, and the Virtual tabletop will have dynamic lighting.

How Ariel creates a safe table
For campaigns I will send out a google form with every single trigger that could appear, as well as I ask your preffered name and pronouns. Using the results of the google form I can better gauge what needs to be removed from the game or worked around, I will also use this information to give you a heads up before anything potentially triggering can appear in the game. During the game you are more than welcome to tell the group or message me privately if the game is too much at the moment and you can get up from the table and take a break. After session I might hang around for a few minutes, feel free during this time to discuss with me if anything was too triggering or upsetting and we can work on ways to avoid it in the future.
