Blood of the Covenant | Story-Driven Homebrew Campaign! | Lvl 5
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
The year is 1011 AW. The civilized lands of Verdaan are in a time of peace, ruled over by their great Emperor, but a demonic kingdom from the frozen north is now threatening the peace. Creatures of the night threaten civilization, shadows within the government itself pull strings beneath the surface, and wandering nomads erase the line between good and evil. The re-emergence of an ancient, dark magic has the people of Verdaan on edge. Will you live in fear, or are you ready to take back your peace?

Storytelling

Creativity
He was very receptive to ideas and is very inclusive, not just to player creativity, but also to people in general. My experiences within his campaigns were a wonder to me. He's an amazing storyteller and has built several amazing worlds that I, alongside many others, have experienced and loved. He knows the rules very well and is more than willing to help others with them. I would recommend him to players of all experience, but the more experience you have, the more enjoyment you'll get out of his campaigns. Please consider him as your next DM.
I've never played DnD before until I got connected to Jack through a friend, he made the introduction to the game so smooth and made a way for my first ever character to fit into his well crafted world in a meaningful and fun way. I've played in 2 of Jack's campaigns now, and I plan on playing in more of his in future, I couldn't recommend him enough for both experienced and beginner players!
My first game with jack was an absolute blast!! The world he had built was phenomenal and the storytelling was nothing like I’ve experienced before. Genuinely one of if not the single most talented GM I have ever played with. I’ve been playing dnd for at least 6 years now and I’ve never come across a GM who is as impressive as jack. Looking forward to my next game with him!!

How to prepare
A mic is needed, but not a webcam. I expect you all to know how your characters work, and while I will be glad to help with the clarification of rules, I don't want to be expected to remember how your own character's powers work for you. I'll also need you to send me an image for your character that I'll make into a token for roll20.
What I provide
I will provide the resources on dndbeyond, the maps on roll20, and of course, the grand storyline we're all going to partake in.
Gameplay details
I'll go over everything in session 0 and ask for any triggers, as well as make note of anyone's triggers. Furthermore, if anyone has any issues, I'd like to them send them directly to me. Finally, after every session, I will ask what everyone thought of the day's session.

How will character creation work
We will discuss Character Creation for free before Session 1 begins as individual Session 0s. I like to help with backstories, expand upon them, and aid you in creating the best character you can for the setting. I have a lot of information and resources, and I'd love to do everything I can to make your character fit in the world.
