About the adventure

The Cult of the Dragon is on the rise, threatening Faerun and the world with destruction as they fervently work to bring Tiamat into the world. Many factions work desperately to keep the Cult from reaching its horrific goal. Will you don the mantle of Hero and step up to protect the world from Tiamat? The story starts with your home village of Greenest under attack. In Tyranny of Dragons, the Players take part in a multi-faction effort to stop the Cult of the Dragon from summoning Tiamat from Hell to unleash on your world. Everything you know and love will burn if Tiamat is unleashed. How will you stop the Tyranny of Dragons? Disclaimers: Please read before booking. -Know your character and their capabilities. Have an idea of what you want to do when it comes to your turn in combat. -Neither skills nor spells can be used to try and coerce another Player into something they don’t want to do. -Do not be discouraged by hard times nor think the DM is being mean. The greatest stories, that we all love, include a period of hardship for the main characters. This forces them to endure and persevere, eventually emerging from the hardship far more powerful than when they went in. -Remember that actions and decisions have in-story consequences. You may be perfectly optimized to take out a handful of soldiers. Then the reinforcements come with their battle mages and healing clerics. -Be mindful of your game environment's background noise. Overly loud backgrounds can pull the group from immersion and slow down the pace of combat. -Treat each other with respect. This is a collaborative game, so be flexible when it comes to group decisions. -Have fun!
