Dragons of Stormwreak Isle - For New and Returning Players!

Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign

About the adventure

This adventure is for 1 to 5 players of 1st Level - 3rd Level Stormwreck Isle, a Graveyard belonging to a variety of dragons from an ancient conflict. Strong magic effects these lands and whatever occurs in this region it seems like dragons are at the center of the conflict. In Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, the characters experience the magical scars left behind by the death of dragons. Faced with the evil schemes of one living dragon and the righteous anger of another, they’ll have the chance to explore whether peace between the feuding dragon families is possible—or if they must resort to violence to resolve the conflict on this isle.

Game style

Rule of Cool (RoC)

“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.

Theater of the Mind

“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.

Gameplay details

Players are encouraged to be creative with their approaches, any ideas are up for attempt or discussion, at the least it’s worth a good laugh! This is a story revolving around the party and lets players dive into how they want to explore and handle their situations. Players can expect a light rule gaming experience with a moderate pace set. Should any topics of game or player discussion make anyone uncomfortable players have the right to discuss their thoughts and concerns openly, and if need take a step away for breaks or self-composure. Players are allowed to directly or discreetly inform the DM of such concerns and will help facilitate anything necessary if anyone is in a position of discomfort. Session 0 - is a period before jumping into the campaign for players and DM to talk on even ground. Players can know what to expect from the game, get advice on rules or character creation, get to know your party members. It is also encouraged to let the DM know of any social concerns (triggers, uncomfortable topics, etc.) The content warning is similar to your typical ESRB rating (Rated - Mature 17+) of what *could possibly* happen in a game. Players are still encouraged to discuss concerns, limits, trigger, etc. with DM in order to exclude any discomforts or traumatic topics. The goal of TTRPG is to be social and enjoyable, we should respect each other.
